Ah screw off. That was my first attempt at one, but amiami came up which the cart was doing that. I usually never get one from amiami. Its just a stroke of luck i have one. Tonightb i could've easily been without one.

I don't think so. I had a good 15 minutes of trying and the quantity numbers were quite high. Also people after me were getting them in.

I got screwed at cdjapan. It would never let me complete the order. Kept giving me the following error even though i don't meet any of the criteria. I'm pissed. t is not possible to proceed to checkout with "NEOGDS-220503 / / DX Chogokin Macross Delta VF-31F Siegfried (Messer Ihlefeld Custom)" for either of the following tree reasons: 1) The item is already sold out completely. In this case, it is no longer possible to order it.2) All available quantities are already in the order process of other customers. It's a good thing they didn't put it as VF-2SS. Nobody would've found it.

That only works if you own a 31J. If you were waiting for the 31F then you're out of luck.

I'm surprised that the 31F doesn't come with an optional Hayate pilot.

Yeah the articulate hands are a step backward imo. The knives not being able to be stored in fighter mode is another step backward. I'd also add the crappy knee landing gear to your list. Despite the above I agree it's still one of the best valk toys out there. Definitely the best DX. Not the best design but those of the best valk toys out there. I love how solid battroid mode is. I'm usually a fighter mode guy but I find myself leaving this guy in battroid mode just because how fun it is and doesn't fall apart list most DX battroids.

Finally got around to transforming mine. A couple of issues with my copy. First the left shoulder piece was so tight that i was scared to push any harder to bring it forward, thought i was going to break it. The right was easy so i kept at it and it finally moved. I've never experienced any toy that had such a tight joint. Second problem is the right leg/feet. The foot keeps collapsing into the leg. It doesn't want to stay extended. Just looking at it makes it sink back into the leg. Anyone know a fix i can do for this? If i can't fix this this will basically have to be a fighter only valk which will suck. Otherwise this dx is amazing and well done. Unfortunately seems like i have one with a bum leg.

Speaking of the hikaru vf-1j, i'm not sure if this has been discussed before but why does it has a green tinted cockpit? The other valks don't.

Just noticed one of my hikaru 1Js was missing a fighter stand adapter. It instead came with one of those claw pieces. WTF!

I managed to get all my vf-31Js miraculously before Christmas. I was expecting one to make it before then. Frustrating there was no forum to post to. Packaging is solid but i'd like bandai to get rid of the styrofoam tray and use a plastic one like arcadia/yamato. By the way exactly how far up are the canards suppose to sit?

I think you'll be better off selling it on ebay in a couple of weeks. I think you'll make your money back even with the defect.

Wow Bandai upped their game with the packaging. Still would like a plastic tray instead of the Styrofoam (paranoid about the Styrofoam stripping the paint). Good to see clear stand parts as well. Stand base is disappointing and are a let down after having the frontier sms bases.
