Well that's going to start a bad precedent. You have to buy the premium version if you want all the fancy tampo. Maybe arcadia will finally offer the intakes warnings tampoed on the Yf-19 for a premium.

When i asked N-Y about this years ago, they said there was no point in doing this as the shipping would be the same price as buying them as two separate orders. BS if you ask me. I'm pretty sure they mark up shipping whenever they can.

That's still 4 years of releases, they'll probably be a new series by then.

I'd actually be for a Max 1S even though it's still basically the same valk but blue stripe instead. At least it's never been re-released.

I still have some too. Something about the thinner nose in fighter mode is very likeable for me even though the v2 is so much better.

A sad, predictable and boring release. Why didn't they release the strike 1Ss 2 years ago instead of the non strike releases. What a waste of time. 4 years of 1Ss and basically the same 2 valks repeated. Not to mention Yamato released them in their final year. Arcadia at least release the cf 0a. Give us something different. I don't have have high hopes for Arcadia anymore.

The biggest misstep in bandai's releases is the super/Armour packs. There's no way to get these packs after they've had their exclusive releases. If you are not around when they are first releases, you're out of luck. The only way to get them is to pay aftermarket prices through second-hand dealers.

I missed po day for the draken (first time ever). I was super sick and went to bed early that night, totally forgetting about the preorder. I managed to get one later at amiami but all the restocks have been from amiami. With there 1 limit per customer aint able to get another. CDJapan is the only place i've seen it since and the two times i tried to order there was frakk ups that prevented me from ordering. Not too sad about it since it's way more expensive for me to get it from CDjapan (300 Cad plus shipping on top). Ideally i'll would've like to get one from hlj and NY. Neither have restocked. NY will probably be more expensive than cdjapan when it does restock. So if i'm lucky maybe i'll get a second from HLJ if they ever reopen. I can't tell you how maddening is to get that restock email and see it's amiami. I wonder why they are getting so many and hlj isn't getting anymore.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves here. If the spartan bombs, Bandai might not continue with the rest of the destroids.

Well this is disappointing that the 31 scratches that easily. Especially disappointing that it seems Bandai knows this and doesn't try to do a better job. I could handle the paint scratching in less visible spots but not in highly visible spots. This affects my score for the vf-31 dx. How much you want to bet the super parts introduces some new issues of paint scratching.

Thanks for all the suggestions. It is all very helpful and appreciated. Will super glue affect the paint in any way? I already have this Tamiya liquid glue. I suppose that's not good to use? Is there a particular brand of super glue that is best to use? Great suggestion about the op11 unit. The would be annoying to complete the model to find out it didn't work or had two different colours. Is aluminum tape something I can get from a Walmart or Home Depot, or do I need to order it from an hobby shop?

I finally got a few of these. Got the vf-31j, 31c, 31s fighter modes and the J battroid. Also picked up the op11 lighting set. I'm a total noob at building these. Can anyone let me know everything (glue, masking tape, knife etc) that i need to complete this build? I hate starting a job and finding out that i need to buy something to finish it off especially if it's something i have to order online. Thanks in advance.

Yeah have one but i don't want to pay upfront at this moment. Wanted to use the cc to avoid the upfront payment. Yeah my cc info is stored on cdjapan but lately (like in the last 2 or 3 months), cdjapan has added this extra step (verified by visa) which asks for the card info again. It's not a big deal if you have a good memory and can remember your cvs code, card number and expiry date. I unfortunately do not have that great of an memory plus my cc info changes a lot do it's pointless to try and remember any of the info.

Yeah after the awesomeness of the Yamato vf-19, arcadia's yf-19 should've been a home run. It falls just short of it but I don't think there was an excuse on why it couldn't have been home run. IMO all of arcadia's new molds have had stupid issues with them. I really expected them to pick up from Yamato lessons learned and continue the QC.

Was in bed and saw this and thought to myself lucky. Placed the order through my iPad only to find ddjapan uses that verified by visa system which requires me to have my card on hand. I said frakk it and let it go. The kids just finally went to sleep, there's no way I'm risking waking them up going downstairs in the dark to get my card in my wallet. That's twice this week cdjapan has thwarted me from getting a preorder. Grrrrrrr. Why can't they just keep my cc on file so I don't need to have it on me at all times (rhetorical question).

They don't jack the price as high as they used to. I paid $300US for the fokker yf-29 when it was first released. It was almost double the msp. It doesn't even cost that in aftermarket prices. This is what they charged for a preorder. I can't believe i paid that but back then we didn't have the choices we do now.
