  1. Yeah that's because Toynami sucks. They should have hired someone who could take a proper measurement. I spent a long time trying to figure out how to collapse the arms and still lock it into the leg tabs until i realized the problem wasn't with me but with whatever hack designed the toy. It's a shame it only needed less than an inch to be able to lock.
  2. Maybe. But it should be easier for them. They own their own company made specifically to release anime internationally. Never mind that voyager couldn't market themselves out of wet paper bag.
  3. <sign> yeah of course pirating this series isn't going to suddenly force bandai to do either of this things. That ship has sailed but in the future it may skew a decision in that way for future releases. This has already happened with most anime. Fansubbing was rampant in the 2000s but are virtually dead now in comparison. Why? Because there is no need for them due to the reason I listed above.
  4. LOL! I thought those were meant to be there. Silly me. I'm going to have to check my 25fs now for those cracks.

    Bandai DX VF-31

Is there a fighter mode pic of this scheme?

Yeah my left one was extremely tight. I had to work on it for quite some time. I was afraid i would break it if i tried any harder to move it.
  7. I'm not sure if i'm blind but i can't see the crack. Where exactly should i be looking?
  8. I actually think its the reverse. Starts out ok then goes to crap mid way through in both story and animation quality. And those new hard suit designs are a crime against humanity.
  9. Pirating anime (fansubbing in particular) led to progress in anime distribution. Pirating forced the industry to have international releases to be released on the same day or close to it. In the old days you could expect a new anime to take 1-2 years to be released in NA. If there is an international deal in place they should have had this in place before the first disc came out. There would be a lot less people upset about this.
  10. Not sure. Looking at old posts of his, his account name has "guest" appended to it. I would guess he got banned but everyone else who gets banned doesn't have their username modified like that.
  11. Hey Davidwhangchoi was the last poster in that thread. Miss that guy.
  12. I came across the kickstarter pages and was blown away that this project was funded $135, 589 out of $30,000. That's frickin crazy. I had no idea this show was that popular. I really surprised it's that popular. I watched this when it first got released in the early 90s. I thought it was ok but i never had any interest in watching it again.
  13. Lol, I remember having a similar agruement when they announced the pricing on the US release of 2199. I was like they will never sell at that price. He was like true fans need to support the show at all costs and take the hit. I just shook my head and thought what an idiot. Its strange that a company that put such good quality work in the series would work against itself on getting the series out there.
  14. I'm guessing they are blaming the poor sales of the us release due to the Japanese version having English subs while missing the obvious reason.
  15. Done. Disappointed that their isn't more Canadian representation. There has to be more of us Canadian Macross fans?
  16. How do you are yourself?
  17. NY finally shipped mine. Funny it gets shipped 12 hrs after I sent them a ticket about it. Coincidence hmmm...
  18. Yeah why is it so hard to make a legios that has the arms lock in fighter mode?
  19. I can't even see the camo pattern in his pic.
  20. Ah cool. I never though of playing it on the ps tv. I might have to buy it now. Get some use out of that pstv finally.
  21. Sadly, NY is the better shipping option for me price wise. HLJ parcels alway get hit by Custom and duties fees. My NY parcels never get hit with those fees due to NY undervaluing them. So with almost 2 weeks of waiting for them to ship, it's still unfortunately worth it for me to go with them.
  22. You're telling me that NY's shipping rates are higher in Japan than the US? That's crazy. A lot of places won't even ship to Italy. I heard through general gossip that Italy's postal service is notorious for packages going missing and employee's stealing stuff resulting in a few places simply not shipping there at all. That makes me sad as i'm from Italy/Croatia.
  23. Yamato claimed that the zero line didn't sell well (not sure if i believe that) but Arcadia is releasing zero now. The yf-21 is one i could see them doing. The original yamato 1/60 sold well enough for at least one reissue.
  24. I'm thinking M0 is probably the only license they have for new molds except maybe M+.
