The monster is for sale at amiami for 15800yen. Finally picked one up. I was tempted to combine my order with the 262 but I wasn't sure how that works. Do I pay when all items are ready to ship?

Cool and you got a decent price. Makes me feel like a smuck for buying 2 at 12000 yen when they were first released.
  3. Yeah i'm, thinking it will be 1st quarter 2018 release IMO.
  4. Yeah but bandai didn't release any delta dxs until dec. they mostly released sdfm hi-metal stuff.

Yeah i don't think you will find it for lower than 10 000 yen anymore. It's still lower than msrp though.
  6. I was looking at the arcadia release thread and noticed this: 2015 6. VF-0D Phoenix (Shin Kudo custom) (2/2015) - MSRP 36800円 7. VF-1J Armored Valkyrie (Hikaru Ichijo Custom) (5/2015) - MSRP 23800円 8. VF-0A Phoenix (Shin Kudo Custom) (8/2015) - MSRP 34800円 9. VF-0S Phoenix (Roy Focker Custom) (12/2015) - MSRP 34800円 2016 10. VF-4G Lightning III (2/2016) - MSRP 27000円 11. VF-1S Strike Valkyrie (Roy Focker Custom) Movie ver. (8/2016) - MSRP 21800円 This can't be right. Did Arcadia only have 2 releases in 2016? Both reissues no less. Dreams of a max/mirya 1j reissues are seeming like a pipe dream now.
  7. We have our captain. http://io9.gizmodo.com/jason-isaacs-is-star-trek-discoverys-new-captain-but-n-1793044813?utm_campaign=socialflow_io9_facebook&utm_source=io9_facebook&utm_medium=socialflow Here are some rumors about the show. If true it confirms some of my fears i've been feeling. Interesting that the money netflix paid was enough to pay for the entire shows production costs. If true CBS should be able to make this show awesome if they want.
  8. Last new release. They reissued the hik and roy 1Ss after TV Hayao.
  9. I thought this ended up being vaporware. It actually got released?

Gah i just noticed my 31J has a paint scrape dead center on the tip of the grey part of the chest. I'm not sure how that could've happened since it's only gone from fighter to battroid once. If paint scrapes are going to be that easy with non use i hate to see what happens with frequent use. Anyone know what type of grey paint i can use to touch this up?
  11. Yeah that's because Toynami sucks. They should have hired someone who could take a proper measurement. I spent a long time trying to figure out how to collapse the arms and still lock it into the leg tabs until i realized the problem wasn't with me but with whatever hack designed the toy. It's a shame it only needed less than an inch to be able to lock.
  12. Maybe. But it should be easier for them. They own their own company made specifically to release anime internationally. Never mind that voyager couldn't market themselves out of wet paper bag.
  13. <sign> yeah of course pirating this series isn't going to suddenly force bandai to do either of this things. That ship has sailed but in the future it may skew a decision in that way for future releases. This has already happened with most anime. Fansubbing was rampant in the 2000s but are virtually dead now in comparison. Why? Because there is no need for them due to the reason I listed above.
  14. LOL! I thought those were meant to be there. Silly me. I'm going to have to check my 25fs now for those cracks.

Is there a fighter mode pic of this scheme?

    Bandai DX VF-31

Yeah my left one was extremely tight. I had to work on it for quite some time. I was afraid i would break it if i tried any harder to move it.
  17. I'm not sure if i'm blind but i can't see the crack. Where exactly should i be looking?
  18. I actually think its the reverse. Starts out ok then goes to crap mid way through in both story and animation quality. And those new hard suit designs are a crime against humanity.
  19. Pirating anime (fansubbing in particular) led to progress in anime distribution. Pirating forced the industry to have international releases to be released on the same day or close to it. In the old days you could expect a new anime to take 1-2 years to be released in NA. If there is an international deal in place they should have had this in place before the first disc came out. There would be a lot less people upset about this.
  20. Not sure. Looking at old posts of his, his account name has "guest" appended to it. I would guess he got banned but everyone else who gets banned doesn't have their username modified like that.
  21. Hey Davidwhangchoi was the last poster in that thread. Miss that guy.
  22. I came across the kickstarter pages and was blown away that this project was funded $135, 589 out of $30,000. That's frickin crazy. I had no idea this show was that popular. I really surprised it's that popular. I watched this when it first got released in the early 90s. I thought it was ok but i never had any interest in watching it again.
  23. Lol, I remember having a similar agruement when they announced the pricing on the US release of 2199. I was like they will never sell at that price. He was like true fans need to support the show at all costs and take the hit. I just shook my head and thought what an idiot. Its strange that a company that put such good quality work in the series would work against itself on getting the series out there.
  24. I'm guessing they are blaming the poor sales of the us release due to the Japanese version having English subs while missing the obvious reason.
