Got excited and saw this Gundam Mk 2 http://www.taghobby.com/archives/247880 Until i realized it was robot soul. Why is it so expensive? You can get the metal composite for that price. -
Will it have an integrated heat shield? That's the deal breaker for me. It's why the vf-1 hi-metals don't excite me. Everytime i want to play with one and transform it, i remember that i have to fish out the part from the box. Then i just don't bother.

Hmm that was cheaper than what I paid. I believe it was $100 for just the vf-1. Basically old Yamato pricing.

I'm not sure how I feel about this move. I think it was executed fine but some of the story decisions were odd and flat out wrong (especially for one character in particular)

Why don't they release more of the main Gundams? I'd like a metal build Gp01, Alex, zeta, mk2, turn a etc. -
Looks like this release got botched. Apparently, SF got the wrong masters for this series. The masters they received don't have the on-screen text. One of the translators noticed this and inquired about it. The answer he got was "ah we did our job, not our problem". This is one of the series that really needs that onscreen text. There are so many people and places in LOGH that need to be identified. The dialogue alone is not sufficient enough to relay the information. Hopefully, this gets fixed for the DVD release but I doubt it will.

I personally hate the HD remake. They are like the SW special editions. Needless changes for no real reason. Also, they swapped out the ending song with the remix version which has different timing. This wouldn't normally be a bad thing if the ending song only played during the credits. But in Seed the music starts playing a little while before the credits roll (one of the things that I initially liked about Seed). So the different timings change the feeling the original scenes had or worse like having the vocals come on at wrong times and overpower the dialogue. It was such a dumb move that it's hard to believe anyone could have looked at the finished product and sign off on it, really amateurish. This leads me to believe that no one looked at the final editing of swapping the songs before committing to it. Definitely a sub-par hack job. Sunrise and Bandai should be ashamed. -

Thank but I was asking for another reason. I recently started building my kits that I bought back in the mid 90s. I had quite a stockpile. I noticed some of the kits I have are not produced anymore. I just want to identify the ones that aren't. I might hold of on building those in case I decide to sell them.

I'm in the same boat too. We sure get kicked in the groin living in Canada in this hobby. I'm so jealous of everyone who was able to get a KAI. It's one I really wanted but looks like I definitely won't be able to get.

Oh that is lame. I can't believe they let that go to production like that. It seems like it would be an easy fix for them to add a couple of notches to insert those tabs into.

I totally want the blue raven's scheme. Sooner see that than another standard yf-19. I like that scheme so much that it's the only reason I've held on the yamato 1/72 toy.

The season premiere was awful. This show has really gone off the rails. I doubt it will survive this year.

The heat shield is battroid is pretty disappointing. Can't believe Bandai let that through to production.
