    Still too much though. I wonder if they are new in box. I looked everywhere on the listing to see if these were preowned. I didn't think hobby search did preowned toys.

    Yeah they did that window box thing with the zeta remaster too when it was on gundam info's YouTube channel. Looks feeakin stupid.

    Agreed. Sadly I'm am being priced out of this hobby if things continue the way they have been. Strange considering I'm making more money than I've ever had in my life previously. Damn life priorities.

    That skit is a classic and so true. for me, my spares use to be MISB. Until I opened one up one day and noticed a piece was missing, years after I bought it. Now my spares are all MIB. I open each up in case I need to do a return on a defective model. Why do I have spares? Because I'm paranoid the first one will break or get paint scratches. This way I'm not hooped when they go out of print.

    The persistent logos an text are annoying unfortunately. I think the font is the main offender. It's unfortunate it's come to this. I'll miss the clean videos.

    The mistimed music is when the ending song starts up in the last 30-40 secs o the episode. Having not seen the prior non-hd remaster, you probably won't notice what I mean. If you read the YouTube comments on the gundaminfo videos, they go into more detail.

    Yeah I actually did see that. Interesting strategy: rather than include the parts with different numbers as extras, they are releasing them all separate (or two pack) in the SAME month. That's pretty crazy IMO.

    Got excited and saw this Gundam Mk 2 http://www.taghobby.com/archives/247880 Until i realized it was robot soul. Why is it so expensive? You can get the metal composite for that price.

    Will it have an integrated heat shield? That's the deal breaker for me. It's why the vf-1 hi-metals don't excite me. Everytime i want to play with one and transform it, i remember that i have to fish out the part from the box. Then i just don't bother.

    Hmm that was cheaper than what I paid. I believe it was $100 for just the vf-1. Basically old Yamato pricing.

    I'm not sure how I feel about this move. I think it was executed fine but some of the story decisions were odd and flat out wrong (especially for one character in particular)

    Why don't they release more of the main Gundams? I'd like a metal build Gp01, Alex, zeta, mk2, turn a etc.

    Looks like this release got botched. Apparently, SF got the wrong masters for this series. The masters they received don't have the on-screen text. One of the translators noticed this and inquired about it. The answer he got was "ah we did our job, not our problem". This is one of the series that really needs that onscreen text. There are so many people and places in LOGH that need to be identified. The dialogue alone is not sufficient enough to relay the information. Hopefully, this gets fixed for the DVD release but I doubt it will.

    I personally hate the HD remake. They are like the SW special editions. Needless changes for no real reason. Also, they swapped out the ending song with the remix version which has different timing. This wouldn't normally be a bad thing if the ending song only played during the credits. But in Seed the music starts playing a little while before the credits roll (one of the things that I initially liked about Seed). So the different timings change the feeling the original scenes had or worse like having the vocals come on at wrong times and overpower the dialogue. It was such a dumb move that it's hard to believe anyone could have looked at the finished product and sign off on it, really amateurish. This leads me to believe that no one looked at the final editing of swapping the songs before committing to it. Definitely a sub-par hack job. Sunrise and Bandai should be ashamed.
