I put an order in from that amazon seller quoted in the retailers offering post. I hope it doesn't charge my card right away. I though a had a preorder in with HLJ so i bought like 4 valks and the lil Draken set this month, not to mention some other Star Trek stuff. This is an added expense i wasn't counting on.

crap. I thought I was I was safe. I didn’t see a cancellation email. Then I noticed my order number was higher than others on here. I check my junk filter and sure enough the email was in there. Ah frakk this. That was my only preorder.

Picked up the Hayate 31F for 14000 yen at Mandarake. Got it yesterday and put on Keith’s Drakens. Have to say I’m disappointed in the way they connect. They don’t connect solid and constantly fall off when you handle the toy. Trying to position the drakens whe. Connected is frustrating.

I know i've done that with vf-25A but that one came with a hard head laser to swap out with so i knew for sure it came out. Knowing that it was still scary yanking on the head laser to pull it off.

Thanks for the quick reply. Yeah i was definately not going to put anything on top. I wonder if it's save to put on it's side? When putting it back in the tray with the plastic wrap. I noticed the wrap really cramps up the space inside the tray. I'm super paranoid about breaking this thing.

So i need to pack up my yf-19 back to the book for a couple of months and i was thinking about the issue with the hread lasers breaking. I want to make sure i don't pack it back up in a way that will break the headlaser. How exactly is the head laser breaking while in the box? Is it simply by chance or is it the way it is packed?

Think Bandai will ever reissue the frontier era valks? I'm wanting a vf-25G. Need an extra to display with tornado parts. A CF 171 that didn't have the stupid breakage issues. Other than the 31F what has bandi reissued lately? I can't think of anything.

I still think they haven’t utilized these sealable pods enough. This new movie coming out would be a good excuse to showcase some new pods.

I want the Bandai Star Trek kits for just that reason. They are frickin expensive though.

Thanks for the replies. Unfortunately it seems the kits that don’t need glue are only frontier and delta valks which I have the DXs for. I was more interested in the stuff that other company puts out.

I was thinking in getting into macross modelling. I don't want to deal with glue since my primary experience is with Gundam snap together models. Are there any? Other than those mini delta ones. I was interested in building this one: https://hlj.com/1-72-scale-vf-11b-thunderbolt-macross-plus-hsg65722 but i see it needs glue. Any help you guys can give me would be great.

That's because they know on release day people will go with cheaper alternatives that crop up rather than honor their inflated price. They want to lock you in to that price. 1st law of acquasition: Once you have their money you never give it back.
