  1. Is this line even still going. I've only ever seen the vf-25f and vf-25g though I don't really pay attention to this line. In think I would try one out if I can find it cheap. Like yamato's gnu line the price seems really high for the size of the toy.

  2. The old BBC series Blake's 7 played this game with fans for a while. Will Blake return after a few seasons absence or won't he? Fortunately in the final episodes the fan's got their wish, but the return was handled *brilliantly*. I don't think that HG would do this to Rick Hunter........

SPOILER: DONT watch this if you havent' seen the series and want to some day, you have been warned....

Wow! i thought i was the only one around you watched this series. Awesome show.

  3. Yup, though the vf-11c still isn't on sale. Not sure if it ever has been, and it is far from new. Hell, the 11b doesn't even have that great a price. Hope this isn't a bad sign for any of the Vf-19's ever going on sale. :(

    Chris

The VF-11C seems to be out of stock which sucks. I've been trying to get a hold of one ever since they came out. Had a chance a few months back but decided to get the yf-29 first since the bandai valks seem to dissappear fast and go up in price a few months after they are released. Still happy to have the yf-29 but i need a vf-11c bad. Not bad enough to spend the ebay prices on it though.

  4. Well I just went and checked mine. I only had two with the clear tips. One had a dx vf-25g on it - don' t see anything wrong. The other had the vt-1 ostrich - there was slight sticking from the back two prongs for a 10th of a second but no visible damage. However the front prong tip had a smudge of red paint on it. Looked over the ostrich where it was touching - saw no where where the red could have come from. I was puzzled until I remembered my Roy vf-1s used to sit on that stand 4 months ago. Checked it out and sure enough there it was -on the same place as pud's pic, the red clear part on it's leg. It's barelly noticeable unless I really look at it, still annoying though. At least it wasn't the ostrich.

I don't know how the manufactor can claim there is no problem when there quite obviously is. These should not be sold at all. The sad thing is i just paid for 3 used ones from a member here about 4 hours before reading this thread. :(

  5. Thanks for all the suggestions. Unfortunately none of them worked. I've done some researching online and it seems finger oils can react with the plastic and paint permently damaging the surface - ie. Leaving a shiny worn out looking surface. I've seen this effect before on laptop keyboards and casings that have been "well used". I'm not sure how I could have done this within a few hours of opening the yf-21. I did get this used off of eBay. I.m starting to wonder if it was like this before i opened it and didn't notice at first cause of the low lighting of the room where I opened it in.

  6. I was wondering what cleaning supplies everyone uses to clean their yamato valkyries?

The reason i ask is that i have a 1/60 yf-21 that have skin grease/oil spots on the wings. I can't seem to get it off. They look like 2 shinny wet splotches that won't ever dry. Any ideas on how i can get them off?
