Interesting. I never seem to hear any chatter about when pre-orders go up and i generally surf the sites/blogs a lot. So the general rule with Bandai releases are pre-orders are taken 4 months prior to the release date?

I'm hoping it's a light year from Yamato. Surprisingly Bandai is going to keep me busy this year again. Already plan on getting the VF-171, RVF-25, YF-29 30th, VF-27&yf-29 super parts and possibly VF-171 armour parts.

Sorry if this has been asked already but i couldn't seem to find any topics on this with the search function. I have to put together the 2 sides of the shoulder on my vf-1s. What is the best glue to use? And what the ones i need to stay away from (eg glues that will melt the plastic)?

Cool. I picked one up right away because i was afraid once sold out it'd be gone until the next reissue (if ever). If only they would do the same for the vf-0s.

I'm not arguing that this isn't what happened but i have to say that logic seems flimsy to me. I agree with Mommar example of the vf-x release.

YF-29 is still a go. The VF-171 was probably being ordered in the 3s.

LOL! I've been watching the user list since the preorder open. Within 5 minutes it doubled. People must have their browser website scanners set up.

This is kinda hilarious if it wasn't so sad. Nippon Yassen is selling the first release at scalper prices while at the same time offering (for a while) a preorder of the reissue at regular price.

How did people know that the 171 preorder was last night? I was over in the yf-29 thread keeping an eye cause someone gave a heads up it was going for that preorder. I totally missed the 171 preorder as i didn't see any mention of it prior. How about the RVF-25? When is that preorder going up? I would've though that would've been up as well? Anyway if it's anything like the alto 171, there will be lots floating around after release for a somewhat reasonable price. Though if i remember correctly, most people really wanted the cannon fodder instead. Maybe be they'll be harder to come by? I can see people selling their alto vf-171ex now that the cannon fodder is out.

I wonder if there is a slight delay between the japanese and english version of the page. Even if it's just seconds, the stock could be depleted before anyone on the english site has a chance to purchase. Probably off base but maybe true if no one here got one?

By some crazy fluke today i noticed that Aoshima's Arcadia is being re-released in March. Here's the link: http://www.hlj.com/product/AOS09706 This is awesome news since I've been trying to get one for a few years for a reasonable price. I've been trying to hunt down news about this re-release but can't seem to find anything. I'm hoping they release the blue version as well. Anyone in the know?

Panzar Dragoon Saga damn. I've wanted that game for over 10 years. Was never able to get my hands on it for a reasonable price.
