I've been waiting for this one since they released the other arcadia years ago. But damn... that price.

This is been my experience as well. I live in western Canada. I recently had two shipments which i chose Fedex and DHL because they were actually cheaper than EMS. I got greedy on the quicker shipping times but i ended up getting fined customs $48 for each. I had to call them to pay by credit card too. Cost me an extra day or two thus eliminating the shipping time advantage. Never again. EMS all the way.

That site's payment plan is crazy. First payment of $75 and 2 payments of $212. That adds up more than their list price.

OMG! Actually got one at Amiami. First time i've gotten a preorder since they updated the websites back in Jan 2019.

There is no competition. Their new ticker system to access their site is flawed and ridiculous. It's impossible to time to get in when the put up the preorder listing.

We can blame NY for asking for payments too soon back in DEC which was extremely suspicious. I have no doubt they were aware of the 0D delay when they sent out that payment request a week or two earlier than usual. The OD costs me over $600 CAD. Its way too much for NY to hold on for over 6 months. I'm extremely annoyed that this money has been tied up for so long with no product and no end in sight. I don't expect to see the OD before Sept. I won't ask for my money back since i know that's a fruitless endevour with NY. Yeah we can't blame them for covid but none of this would have been a issue if they asked for payment 2 weeks prior like they usually do. They got greedy and pulled a devious maneuver. It might have have the reverse affect that NY intended. I only have 2 pre-orders with them, the 0D and the strike parts (I was in the first batch or orders). For over 10 years I've always had a 10-20 items of pre-order with them. I'm done with them after i received these final two items.

The saga continues. A 31F i ordered came in today. Missing the head fin. I'm 3 and 3 now. At least it comes with another fin but Jeez is anyone doing their job checking what they buy at Manadarake.

Well when they ask for pics, then more pics and now they want a video. I call it hoop jumping. I don't even know how they expect me to send a video when their email system only allows 2MBs for an attachment.

Did they send a tracking link. They contacted me a week ago and offered to send it Air. I said ok. Now it's been radio silence. I don't know if they shipped it or haven't gotten around to it. Frustrating.

Well guess what happened on my next order. Ordered a 1S from amiami. Opened the box, pulled out the valk and the right arm falls off. Broken shoulder hinge. Looked at the left arm, the shoulder hinge is half broken. I wasn't able to find the pieces of plastic in the box or on my desk which leads me to believe the guy who sold it to amiami had already broken it and amiami didn't notice. I've already contacted amiami and i don't have hope of a good solution like with mandarake. They seem really rude and have weird questions and requests. After sending them pics of the toy. they asked for the shipping invoice. Send them that. Then they wanted me to take a pic with the toy and invoice in the same pic. Basically making jump through hoops. Looks like they don't offer a discount. I'll have to return it to them which will only be worth it if they pay for the shipping back to them. Arghhh.

Thanks. I'll pick one up. Just hope i can paint the black strip on decently. i asked Mandarake for $40 dollars 15% off (3150 yen) and they agreed. Brought down what i paid from 21000 to 17850 yen. Not bad but i wouldn't have bought a valk with a broken fin for that price. At least i won't waste money on shipping doing a return.

Yeah i believe it was an honest mistake. My OCD is the only reason i noticed it. I'm mad at the loser who sold it to them without disclosing that info. It sucks for both of us. Had i know about the part i wouldn't have bought it. But i have it now and i know if it's pointless to get a refund because i'll end up paying over $90 to ship it back to them. Learned that from a situation with a defective 171 i got from amiami.

Thanks. I don't think i want to bother with a refund. The shipping cost will not make it worth it. $20 seems a little low though. I'd prefer at least $40. Even with $40 it's still a piss off. I don't know am i being too greedy? What does everyone think?

Got my first problem order from Mandarake. First one ever in over 10 years ordering from them. I order a 31J Kai for 21000yen. Unfortunately i noticed the head laser had been broken and glued back together. I emailed Mandarake and they offered me 2100 yen. Should i take it? I feel like it's low but i don't want them to back off completely and take back the offer. Anyone have experience dealing with Mandarake? Will they negotiate?
