sign does anyone remember when they usually put up the second batch? I think i remember around 2am-ish Pacific. In which case i'm out of luck since i have to work in the morning.

Wow. For a valk that only appeared at the end of one movie who knew its mold would be milked so much. The yf-29 is on the ways of being the new vf-1.

Sad news. I wondered why we hadn't seen him in here for a while. I assumed he fell out of collecting as people do time to time. I think MacrossMan and I started this hobby about the same time. He used to annoy me because he would snipe every deal in the for sale threads. LOL! He went full speed collecting Valks. He was a really good guy. Always helpful. That pic with who I presume to be his son really makes me sad. Being a recent father myself and also roughly the same age as MacrossMan, it really hits home our mortality and those we leave behind. Rest in Peace MacrossMan.

For me it happened on the clear plastic piece painted red on the leg (the other leg has that piece painted blue) on the Roy VF-1S 1/60 v2 (first release). The one spoke of the stand was making partial contact with the red piece, the other two the bare white underside. Only the red striped off. One guy posted that it removed the grey off a 1/48 low viz 1. Even posted the pictures. I'm not sure if the Low Viz was completely painted in grey rather than molded in that color. I never had an issue with a Bandai valk so far. I have a VF-25G v1 sitting on one for over 2 years. Still these stands are too scary to chance on expensive valks IMO.

It's a slow process. I think it takes a year for the paint to come. Or least that's how long before i noticed. It may be sooner. I wonder if you avoid the paint stripping by constantly switching the valks on the stand?

It occurred to me that i have a SOC Yamato 2199 dx on preorder with amiami. I thought to myself i could save a few bucks by reordering at HLJ and then cancelling the amiami preorder. Strangely the black friday hlj price is still more expensive than amiami's regular price (23400 yen vs 20970 yen).

At the end of the day i don't really care about the box art but I'm amused at how bad they are (or have been). I'm pretty sure i can whip up something better in Photoshop and I'm not even that great with Photoshop. It must cost a lot to have in show art on the box. Box art i thought was really good was for the Bandai Hi-Metal stuff.

It worked like a charm. I did pop them off twice but i think that was do to my monster hands. I think i got the hang of it now. The shoulder guars are in position and the transformation was waaaaay easier this time. Thanks for doing the video Jenuis. Sometimes you need to see the transformation in reverse in order to see how a part locks into fighter mode. Unfortunately i noticed i chipped a small part of the black paint on the piece next to the nose cone ( just before the canopy where the nose cone folds). I didnt notice that when i transformed it last. Anyone got a suggestion for a paint or gundam marker that i can match the black with?

Yeah i noticed the same thing on my yf-29 30th anniversary. Only transformed it to battroid and it sat on my desk since. I picked it up the other day and the leg are so loose they swing around on their own. I can barely make it stand on its own. A simple tap will make it fall over.

Yeah the missing kites (as well as the chest triangle) on the vf-17 annoyed me as well.

the VF-25s needs to be reissued before anything else. What's the hold up bandai?
