Is it official that Ozma and Cathy had a relationship? if they did, i think what u said could very well be the reason. As for Ozma still staying in the frontlines, i'd say he still feel guilty/anger over his inability to save the people from that vajra incident 11yrs ago, maybe in his mind he wants "revenge" for Ranka's loss of her family (actually also for himself to feel better?), and to a lesser aspect to protect the Frontier people from vajra. To do that more effectively, Ozma knows he needs the most advanced weapons i.e. VF-25(which are in SMS not the military). good point about Frontier being more populated and thus much more civilians than military. However, i'm not sure if heading towards the galactic center is actually safer, instead i've always thought that it is more dangerous nearer to the galactic core for several reasons: (i) conditions are more hostile towards the core - more harsh environment coz more stars (and even a massive black hole at the core although it might be too far to make much difference to the sagittarius arm region). (ii) if there's an advanced civilization which is powerful enough to "rule" the galaxy, and if they have the same type of mentality as humans they'd want to "watch over" or at least have some control over at the galactic core as a sign of their supremacy over the galaxy. So i imagine that to go there is to challenge the "throne" hmm if Leon is that shady, he's gonna be the first character in MF to hate . aww i keep thinking of MF... can't wait for next ep...

Q-Raus have always been one of my top most fav mecha design of all, ever since the first time i saw it in SDF:M, fell in love with it... thanks for the pics. now gimme the toys/models BTW, did the female Zentradi only operate the Q-Rau and nothing else? cos we dont see them with Regults, but then Q-Raus are supposed to be quite rare right?

the President mentioned him again i think in ep 2 when Leon gives him the casualty/damage report. Brera may be a top fighter pilot or someone very knowledgeable about the vajra... Since we always get something different in the homages, maybe it could be Alto shooting someone from SMS down, cos he's always so hot headed and trigger-happy, maybe it'd teach him to be more cool-headed and we can see him grow from there.

isn't Brera Sterne the guy that the President called in ep 1? he said something like they need his help, so i suspect Brera have something effective vs the vajra, maybe he's a singer as well? and he has that hairpin that looks suspiciously similar to what Sheryl has... lol... that's quite expected. remember that scene when Ozma took over from NUNS in ep 1? the NUNS pilots were screaming like little girls... maybe we just happen to see/hear the cowards of NUNS. I too hope to see the NUNS being at least abit more competent but Mr March is right - if they were that good, there wont be a reason for SMS anymore. BTW, in ep 1 there were 3 lobsters. 1 got killed by Ozma's stab, 1 had its head vaporized but escaped(?), there's one more missing. maybe NUNS got them What does SMS stand for? Special Military Service?

who knows the wings might be split into left and right wings packaged into more than one box i probably wont get enki if it doesn't come with the wings... so its a smart move on their part.

one thing about M:Frontier is the animation inconsistencies are really starting to pile up. Lots of them EVERY episode... zzz are they rushing the animation?

yea i noticed the stage says 20th but was announced as the 12th. figured 12th should be correct coz Cathy would be very very old if its 20th this time

yup, i have that impression too. doing things such as mapping the galaxy perhaps, which will fit well with the excuse for fold dislocation.

hmm i suspect the earrings were the cause of the trouble. the singing or emotion whatever may not be detected by the vajra across the vacuum of space or the long distance, but i suspect the earrings to somehow allow the vajra to trace them to the Frontier fleet. one example is when Sheryl was looking for the SMS HQ and Ranka happened to pass by her, the vajra lobster was suddenly alerted. It was Ranka who was singing near to Sheryl and thus near to her earring. I suppose it is reasonable to assume that Ranka was singing all along and the vajra were not alerted UNTIL she was near Sheryl (and her earring). So it seems like the Vajra were attracted to Ranka and Sheryl but only when they're singing or experiencing some strong emotions. The earrings perhaps have some catalytic effect.

actually i've been suspecting that M:Frontier has elements suggesting (1) Mospeada style armored suit -> X-Gear (2) Southern Cross "arming doublet" combat suit -> the suit Cathy n others were wearing when they rescued Sheryl in Ep 3 looks very similar in style. Perhaps Kawamori and co. has plans to sell the animation to the Robotech guys... Stay tuned.

The Konata cosplaying Haruhi fig is a Wonder Fest 2008 Winter exclusive which is very popular, and thus, comes with a big price tag. Figma's figures are looking fantastic, with sculpts being even better looking (IMO) than Revoltech's and extra accessories and a better display stand. Lives up to the brandname of MaxFactory... that is, except Kyon - that arm joint gap is soooooo ugly arrghh! i'm still undecided on whether i want to buy it just so i can get the whole SOS dan or give up the guys.

ROFLMAO Well said! As for a M7 remake, I would like a M7 movie summarizing the whole series, perhaps from another POV like what many others said. But would prefer them to focus on M:Frontier now.

agree that it fits better with the dogfight scene. also, it seems Leon had a hand in fixing the results of that contest, so it doesnt matter what songs she sang.

Really liked it though and would like to watch the original version too. was searching for this on BT but cant find any Heard that they did additional animation such as April getting a mech horse which was not in the original. Wonder why they like to mess with stories like that? Alot of animation got butchered during that period... weird mentality.

Yep... マ ク ロ ス Ma ku ro su Well, it's supposed to be closer to MA-Cross, at least according to how it was pronounced in the anime. i find alot of folks read it as MAC-cross too, just like alot of folks read Gundam as Gun-DAMN as opposed to the pronunciation Gun-DERM. maybe u guys see macross as in macdonalds where the 'c' is attached to the first 2 letters...
