I am confused, it has been a few years since I have seen SEED, but where is the mention of a space whale in it? Only space whales I remember are from Macross 7

Happy Birthday, I would be one of those new guys, and Frontier is what got me started on Macross.

ep 25 Battle Galaxy's head gets blown up, appears again, then is missing again. Here Canaria blows Galaxy's head/bridge to pieces. (Yet we don't actually know its missing yet.) Quarter is about to do the Macross Attack, we can clearly see the head/bridge is still intact. Battle Frontier is about to do the final blow right after Quarter's Macross Attack... oh wait where is Galaxy's head?? All that's there is a little stump.

When? Where? How much!!!! I must know

I dunno if its considered a bug or not since I am unfamiliar with Frontier tech, but: In ep. 25, Sheryl changes holographic outfits on Battle Frontier into the purple one seen in the intro, as does Ranka on Macross Quarter. However, once they are on the planet, Ranka is back in her actual outfit that isn't holographic whereas Sheryl's still is wearing her holographic outfit. Before Sheryl started singing in ep. 24, she was in a robe and parts of her purple outfit would have been showing is she was already wearing it under the holographic images.

Ya if your watching the episode and listening, it seems pretty clear that is part of Ranka telling how thousands of years ago the vajra would sing to mate with vajra from all over.

When watching Macross 7 Dynamite, Macross 11 is referenced in that space drama they are listening to on the radio.

I just finished watching Macross 7 for the first time... I thoroughly enjoyed it! Like Ozma, I am a Fire Bomber fan! I didn't go in with many hopes hearing its all music etc etc but I still found myself really enjoying it and the music was good

Well I finished SDF Macross (original series) the other day and I am moving onto Plus. I was reading up on the different series and I noticed in Wikipedia under "The Super Dimension Fortress Macross: Flash Back 2012" there was this: According to the Official Macross Site, the SDF-2 Megaroad-01 fleet vanished 4 years later during the new expedition (in 2016 A.C.) and was never heard from again. Is that all we know? Did they just vanish? Has this vanishing ever been mentioned discussed in any of the other series? Also is Macross 7 worth my time? I see a lot people complain about it on here thx

I am new to Macross. A friend showed me Macross Frontier Deculture Edition back in March and I was instantly hooked After watched ep10 of Frontier and reading everyones comments, I went and downloaded Macross Zero. I just finished watching it. Since we have a 2 week break, I want to get caught up on other Macross series, but I don't know if I have time for them all. I am currently watching the Macross: Do You Remember Love? movie. What does everyone suggest I watch? What would be the best series that I should make a priority of watching? thx
