sorry to use you for quoting : *SO Please not bsPlayer or anything similar* Just stick with your favorite so far, the choppyness doesn't depend on player and stuff, only on the codecs / filters you use. just upgrade to the latest/most recommended ffdshow filter, with it you can play almost every file correctly. --- I also hav a crappy dsl connection, but it finished in 4 hours really good ep storywise. Now to make a separate sub (.ssa) from it, translate it, apply it to my edited RAW (DivX video + 5.1 sound + NO HARDCODED SUBS)

but mine do (but had to demux/rebuild each one from 2 other files for that) ------- as for ep 5: notice the title (Bird Human) I think the bird human will awaken and start it's song of destruction (as said in ep 4) so maybe Roy + DD + Nora + Shin would have to team up in order to stop it. Well that version is not what most people here expect to see, but it would fit in nicely with the original's / Macross7's statements. Heh, even in the mostly loved DYRL and M+ the previous enemies team up at the end (Isamu+Guld , SDF1 + Zentran fleet). so after all my suspicion get stronger, that the bird human IS a protodeviln type creature, and the 4 'aces' have to stop it (with a lot of spiritual help from Sarah + Mao (maybe even some technology from Prof. Hasford))

at first when I saw the mushroom clout I thought about nukes, but yeah, it's more like FAE. (especially after watching that part again and noticing the way it's blown up.) well I'm sooo far from knowing about these thing, but as I've seen a few times on discovery, every large explosion gives a mushroom cloud.

if anyone has these for all the 4 DVDs (ep 1-4) please scan and upload here (or somewhere). I *know* I won't buy the series until the box, but I'm crazy for any macross lineart. thanks

Unfortunately, the Macross deck plans volume 1, done by Pod9, are the only source of info on the Macross Cannon I know of. I say Unfortunately because the size of the Macross Cannon in the OAVs is much, much, greater than Seimbeida's stats. My RPG buddies and I have had many a discussion about ol Kev Seimbeida, when it comes to Macross spacecraft (like the Oberth), we feel he must have "blinked" or has some type of "depth perception" disorder. The size of the Tou Redirs in front of the Macross Cannons (not to mention the four Nupertiet Vergnitzs attached to it) give a clue to its massive size. I estimate it to be around 8000 to 10,000 meters in length. I too would like to see some actual official data on this craft and all the Macross 2 craft. Yep, the Macross2 / Robotech RPG is totally mistaken in a lot of things. as for the Cannon I'd say the 4 'arm' are actually zentran flagships (or at least the shape and size compare) but 8-10km is too large too, I!d say somewhere between 4-7km.

just use the ffdshow codec set, with it I can play everything from DivX3.11 -> XviD and some more. doesn't matter, both use the same files for encoding / decoding, as both are just front-ends to the file decode process.

looks great, but 2 things: -1024x768 (or higher) too please - little hard to see the sv-51, so please make a 2nd wallpaper to, where the sv51 is more visible. thankie ignore the 1024 one, I just reread your post it's there on your page

Afaik, the megaroad series is called SDF XY too, so megaroad 13 is also SDF14 (I could be wrong here) well the new macross battle carriers / uraga (class) carriers pretty well fit in this category. (+ a few upgraded Zentraedi ships) I know only one in possession , and quite a few production facilities around the galaxy (planet based / 3star mobile ships) the biggest one on the moon, which is weird, because the resources would heve to be supplied from other systems --> I don't think it's efficient in the long run to ship material to Sol/Earth/Moon just to process it into ships (of course could be wrong here, the asteroid belt could supply humanity with raw materials for a few hundred(or more) years)

I managed to get about every lineart on the net , and scanned some too hmm, the pic from EXO.... you (would you believe, that I have a directory labelled as : macross/fanwork/exo ? ) 4(+1) pages of BW lineart, 1 page color Hentai doujinshi, bought on ebay before I knew what doujinshi *is* it has another 4 pages of Sivil, but those are not good, these posted pass as art too, those are just plain stupid. only 1 BW sketch, nothing else total of 2 pages, 2 really good color pics, and a few passable ones. again 2 pages of color, but no lineart. about these things: well I'm crazy for *ALL* macross artbooks. To be honest I have all (including rare ones like the flashback book, gold book) except a few not really needed ones (a few macross TV books), and I really miss a book on Dynamite7. so even if it is offtopic: please if someone has the Dynamite 7 book, I *WANT* to buy it.

nope I didn't scan the whole 'book' , it's not good anyways this color picture is more like an early design sketch not the final version used in the anime. . hmm that reminds me to look through the artbooks if there are pics of here anywhere besides the TIAM : M7 book (available on ebay for $35 right now, a must get Ebay - TIAM M7 book ) . just checked, I have about 200MB+ of lineart/fanmade(MW mostly) macross pictures
