  1. Does anyone know if its the same Arcadia that did this Mospeada 1/72 Gosu kit? Hope they new partners like Mospeada ...
  2. Does anyone know if this is the same Arcardia that did this Mospeada 1/72 Gosu Resin kit? Would be very cool if some of the new folks there had a liking to that series...
  3. But you also said that MOSPEADA was BACK. It clearly isn't. Saying it never left the "true fans" isn't the same. Why did you lie....? You must have missed by disclaimer above: ( *only one person's opinion and is in no way meant to suggest mospeada is popular or harm anyone in any way ) For your own sake, please read things thoroughly that have the potential to be upsetting to your fragile psyche...

  5. Truth is Mospeada never left in the hearts of true fans...
  6. I should have said Mospeada 'MIGHT POSSIBLY' be back soon... drat... I always forget some disclaimers...
  7. NO - MOSPEADA is BACK!!! (IMO*, for a very select few niche fans randomly scattered across the globe) ( *only one person's opinion and is in no way meant to suggest mospeada is popular or harm anyone in any way )
  8. Hang on a second here - what's this mean????? UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE - p l e a s e ...
  9. A little bundle of joy arrived today... Our first 1/48th Actic Gear. He comes with a lot of tampo and a shocking amount of detail and accessories. Not too much trouble so far, nothing a little clear nail polish to 'hold fast his bits and pieces' couldn't fix...
  10. So that is the Moscato 1/72 Regult in the background too? Hmmm... Can you give a height in inches for that Regult and Glaug? I have the Yamato Regult kit and would only want the Glaug if it matched. Have not built that kit yet but it seems its 17.7 inches tall. Did you buy the mold for the standing 1/72 Kamjin?
  11. Here is the 'black' or Investigation Unit 1/12 Scopedog, and the letter it comes with. I want one of these! Hard to find as you point out...
  12. Another Scale question - have you posted a pic of the new version with a 1/60 valk? Would like to see how it looks beside the Yamato 1/60 Regult. If it looked compatible I might be interested...
  13. How cool? Extremely cool! I love this Ray and Fuke fan art...
  14. I saw a YouTube review of the CLAT version, and he took out the female pilot and placed her in a 1/24 model car he had and the fit was perfect. But I guess Ohta being a burly man should be larger than her. Still - If I could reduce the Pit Road CC and figs 10% in size I would... Here is the current team waiting for their Command Car to be finished...
  15. Bandai should go ahead with this Gilgazamune for the SPEC line! Its bizarre - but I like its strangeness...
  16. Nevermind your modeling secrets - how the heck do you get to anything when you have kids!?? Let alone do so much so fast. You must get 3 hours of sleep a night... I M P R E S S E D
  17. You mean Yamato 1/24th I think. I would be in for a 1/24th Type Zero and Helldiver. Speaking of 1/24th - Pit Road made their Command Car and figures a bit too large. The Yamato Ohta pilot figure of Unit 2 is half the size of the standing female officer with pistol...
  18. It was not easy to get a hold of one of these Tamashii Web Exclusive Dragonar 2s - but I finally managed it. It was 'mint used' supposedly, but right away I noticed a problem with the waist ball joint. I was able to unscrew the main metal torso area and free the joint from its holder, and add double-sided tape and nail polish to it. After assembling this guy I can see why the waist joint suffered. H Mackerel -- there is a lot going on with this guy! HUGE jet packs and guns can really weigh a mech down. The quality on each part is incredible, but I ended up adding a dab of clear nail polish to every ball joint and piece you have to attach. Did this with my SPEC Layzner as well. The waist problem and adding gunk to every piece did take away from my assembling fun - but in the end he's quite a looker. Now I'm CERTAIN if I was facing giant monsters around the Pacific Rim I would be piloting one of these babies, those lizards wouldn't stand a chance, and the silly little knives it comes with might actually come in handy...
  19. OK - thx for the info...
  20. Can someone tell me what the 3 accessories are actually for in this Hasegawa kit? The 2 green items and the red cart thing?
  21. Seems in very good condition. The auction said new, it looked like it, nothing was opened. I just tried the pull down ankle thing, and the push up. Nothing. I could not achieve that action. Tips?
  22. Got Ohta in the cockpit. Like the detail in there and the moving levers. But when I push him up so his head is peaking out there is no click into place. The whole chair assembly keeps sliding back down. I want to put something under the chair to prop it up, but the lower door hinge needs that space when closing. And hate the neck pistons now. Any movement and the ends can fall into the drivers area, showing you they are non-working, floppy fakes. And the leather-like flaps there have a serious curl and will not fall nicely and cooperate. Articulated fingers too loose. Right ankle guard popped off again. Materials and sculpt are simply incredible though - don't want to sound too much like a negative nelly...
  23. Were the ball joints on your ankles loose? Do you know if the feet can come off and nail polish or tape be added to stiffen them up?
  24. HELP! You Yamato Ingram owners! Finally got my mitts on the scarce Unit 2 - stunned at the opening, so many good things to say. But I have to have my fears calmed about a few issues first but I can enjoy myself here. ANKLES? Too LOOSE! Why aren't they CLICKY or tight or better?!? Can these be tightened? Can I just pull the foot off? I'm pretty afraid of trying without checking around first. And the inner calves - why does it seem like they want to pop out like the outer parts? Mine are too loose, thus making the ankle guard shin guard thing almost come off. And while still on the ankles, I looked for a place to attach the pistons and there are none - right? These just dangle? I don't mind the neck ones dangling, but I do not like these ankles on this guy at all so far. It is a stunning piece - stunning, but I'm a little put off right now...
