One of the only good things about the Toynami series is the duller, better -- blue, green and red paints...

I test out the SC section of RB on my 4 and 6 years olds sometimes. Every time I do they ask me to turn it off and put something about Rick or Scott back on. Ha! What do they know? Personally - I like about 1/3 of it. Some great character interaction and even animation sometimes. The other 2/3s - well...

HOLY HECK! I not only thought this was vapor-ware --- I thought the whole SPEC line was dead. This showed up on eBay pre-order this morning, but nothing on Yahoo Japan? Strange. Anyway - the world will get the really UNIQUE Gilgazamune after all . . .

I have a first release and they seem almost black to me . . .

Always wished they had gotten the green color more visible in the visor (its too darn dark) - so I added some back in Photoshop here...

MIKE - Please keep this area open for more impressive or interesting projects. A 1/48th custom fully lit resin Glaug is not going to cut it, please stop wasting our time...

Is this Mark I the same as the initial release except adds the buster launcher? Or are there other differences? https://www.rinkya.com/en/auction-e144573521

We should celebrate how far we come from the old HCM releases. I never had any HCMs, but its easy to see the massive advancements in designs and materials. I'm not a fan of the Auge, but they've made it look very cool here. Interested to see how they managed the joints in the shoulder cannons...

You could title the review: Who You Would Least Like to Have at a Holiday Dinner --- The Microman figs look like their arms and legs were lost in the war and replaced with mechanical ones. Will check out the review Jenius, you are never afraid to delve into the obscure - which is good!

Know this is an old release - but I finally picked up a Bandai SPEC Dragonar Opening Sihouette. Also have the limited release SPEC 'Dragoon' on the way too, which brings my line up to 6. What a great piece, and can be had at great prices now. Can't say it better than Colection DX if someone wants to read more: ( - *sigh* spec line - wish you had lasted - ) http://www.collectiondx.com/toy_review/2007/dragonar_1_quotopening_sihouettequot

If it dips way down on a sale I might pick it up. I like the colors. But I DO have the Robot Spirits Heavy Metal Bat-Shu. It was a Tamashii Exclusive release so it can be a bit pricey, but BBTS just lowered their price and have some in stock: http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/product.aspx?product=BAN14156&mode=retail Some Pics ---

Do you mean the Amon Duule "Stack"? It only appeared for one episode before they turned it into the Mark II correct? Bandai did make a figure of it but I think I will pass. Feels like a mold-milk . . .

#1 Wish - Something from Macross TV that makes me say " Holy heck! Wow - they're coming out with a toy of that!?"
-
Just finished episode 30. My biggest gripe is the obvious trotting out of new Heavy Metals to announce the next toy. I found this so bad in Zeta Gundam that I stopped watching that series. Most of the HM designs are cool (some are atrocious) - but I MUCH prefer the more realistic mass production of Valks, or Ingrams and Scopedogs. Dunbine has the excuse that each one is custom made from living parts in a mediaeval world, but with L-Gaim it just comes off as random. Another gripe is that the combat scenes are poorly done, and the Mark II is too complex for old cel animation and looks jumbled and awkward. But Gavlet and the crazy characters are keeping me going . . .

I have ordered from Anime-link - great experience - recommended. Here is a framer from DYRL . . . https://www.rinkya.com/en/auction-b152807119

Have always wanted to see this show. Do not care for the mecha designs at all for collectables, but the characters and animation look great. Is this MaidenJapan company picking up a lot of titles? Maybe they can get Orguss & do a subbed reg and blu-ray release like they did for Patlabor... http://www.ebay.com/itm/Patlabor-TV-Collection-1-DVD-/300992628415?pt=US_DVD_HD_DVD_Blu_ray&hash=item46148f06bf

Really love how the foot jets are painted that ultra light blue effect . . .
-
No - they actually painted the hi-lights and effects right on the kit. It creates some visual confusion to what you're seeing but I really dig it...
