  1. Not sure at my asking price there will be a huge rush for the Z guys. I have about $200 sunk cost in each, and then my time on each for should be about $400 on top. That will be too much so I cannot ask that in good conscience. So I am thinking $389 for brown, $399 for green, but I am still collating. Many UNFINISHED kits cost that much, and these are limited edition, and they are completed. And no waiting 6 months to a year to have them in possession. I was very close to saying $489 and $499 but the hands do not hold the rifle well, at all. Better off gluing it in. And if you move the elbows too far bent the ball joint will pop out and that can be frustrating. And there is chance of paint scratch, especially on the back of hips. So that is why I am thinking about knocking off $100 each. ANYWAY though - since this is a Regult thread -- -- The FIX IS IN. No squatting position for this guy, the legs had to be fixed upright - bummer, but he is still an impressive piece . . .
  2. SWEET! Love the shark teeth on the sides of the drums . . . nice . . .
  3. Regult is another story - think I will have to glue the legs in a fixed position, sigh . . .
  4. The Regult is having some legs issues. I will post some more pics in a bit. It was not even close to standing on its own. BUT Finally got most of my custom 1/60 Z guys done. They are 5.5 inches tall ( t-rex are 6 inches ) and fully posable with articulated hands. Yellow Submarine ball joints in the hips and neck and elbows. Wave option system joints in knees and elbows ( elbows double jointed ). They are fully painted and lightly weathered, and come with rifle, removable gun strap, custom UZ firing effect -- and officer comes with a ceremonial cape. Limited to 12 pieces - 6 brown and 6 green, + I might let go of my protoype that uses Revoltech joints instead. Working on packaging and a few final things - likely 2 or 3 weeks I could ship some. I will make an official post in the For Sale area once I'm ready... but PHEW - that took wayyy to long . . .

  7. Yamato Unit 2 - Ended at 51,000 !! https://www.rinkya.com/en/auction-175849986 I thought I was paying a lot when I shelled out 29,000 - s h e e s h
  8. My wallet says - Phew! No interest. Now had they done something like a limited Alaska Base diorama - with 1/60 Spartan, Kitchen Sink and Alaska Base 1A set - that would be amazing. Where the plane could be lowered into the base and other creative features. But hey - like I said - I feel $1,000 richer that they decided to do this instead . . .
  9. Yes.
  10. Completely agree. Here is something Bandai just released for their RS Dunbine line: The Fow, a vehicle never in toy form before, that was in almost evert episode of the show: • Gate and cloud diorama from the OP • Pilot figures • Mini glider Wish Arcadia would go beyond the standard hero mechs into creativity like this . . .
  11. Got mine . . . thx much !
  12. To Dunbine episodes 16 and 17 where they break through to Upper Earth, Tokyo. Really great action, scenes well done, enjoying the series a lot. Here is Garlaria in the Aura Battler Bostune -- cutting a copter in half . . .
  13. Here is the first Yamato 1/24th Unit 2 I've seen come up for auction in months. 35,000 is on the upper end of pricing, but if you've been looking for a Unit 2 I would grab it . . . https://www.rinkya.com/en/auction-175849986
  14. . . . I didn't know the Spartan transformed?!
  15. If you google 'macross hasegawa box art' all those look great - or just note the flying skull-1 at the top of this forum. Then you add in the fact that the bright snow white will likely yellow worse over time --- and it leaves me wishing all Yamato and Arcadia valks would have been interpreted a little more rugged . . .
  16. True - so that is one reason I am not really bummed. Their M&Ms will match my other TV valks as you point out.. But its a pure head-scratcher for me that given the choice to go with one way -- they chose the bright white. These are military killing machines no? And the anniversary 1J was a poor decision IMO, and now Alaska? Their choices seem awkward. But an M&M soon will get me stoked, and get a pre-order. Bring 'em on Arcadia! A Phalanx and Spartan would also have me singing their praises . . .
  17. Yep - has to be a nice, military darker green, like in the screen cap. But with them going with 'bright snow white' for the valks does not inspire confidence they will choose wisely with the green . . .
  18. I REALLY hope its the M&M valks - enough waiting already. Phalanx too would be a sweet surprise ( not happening I know ) . . .
  19. Great review Jenius. Makes me wish even more that Arcadia went with the light gray. It just looks so much more manly and war-machine like next to the new snow white release. An extendable or snap in antenna in Gerwalk would have been cool too . . .
  20. A w w w w w - AWESOME! Great Pics!
  21. The 2 parts in question are an upper leg / quad in an armored hip well. So if you lift the leg out or forward, the leg can come in contact with the back, or inside, of the armored plate. That is why I have the option of coating the inner rim of the armor (that is out of sight mostly) with something like nail polish or rubber cement . . .
  22. How about a Destroid Spartan / Alaska Base double-pack? Now that would have me sit up and pre-order . . .
