Think I am going to mount the rifle in the gun hand on the Z pilots. The pin I mounted in the handles (with the aim to make the gun stay in better) --- makes the handles weak, and they can break with the endless fiddling that one must do to get the articulated hand to hold the rifle well (or at all). Its unfortunate because it looks cool to sling the rifle over the shoulder. Guess I could include a gun hand and a non gun right hand, but I am already mucho $$$ into this and do not want to drain anymore funds I will not get back. Oh boy - that does seem like the ticket though - include an extra non-gun hand. Sigh. --- Should I make a new thread in TOYS titled: Custom 1/60 TV Zentran and Meltran Figures ?? Anyway - here is a quick cell phone pic of the first Meltran off the line (8 will be made), better photos at the end of the week. She can be in hair- or helmut- mode . . . Zs and Ms should be officially for sale in 2 weeks, unless I try to include an extra articulated right hand for all the Z Guys that is . . .

Everyone has valid points here. Its easy to understand why the line was not completed, its also easy to see why destroid fans are saddened that some of the other cannon models are likely not going to be made. The weathered Tomahawk and Defender were a few of the items I've paid full price for in my collecting life, $200+ each. The GU-11 and even 1J Anniversary (and a few other head scratchers) have made some of us REALLY long for their more obscure want-items. Like --- "Hey! That's going to get made? And I don't get a 1/60 Phalanx? The tooling is already done for at least half of it!" But its more complex than that . . .

I got all the ride-armors and they are very cheap - sold them all . . .

If they made the 1/60 Spartan and Phalanx 25,000 to 28,000 web exclusives I would be happy with that. I realize they are a niche product . . .

If Arcadia would make a proper 1/60 Spartan and Phalanx (and weathered versions if possible) - I would fly to Japan and hand them my money. Unlikely though. Instead we can gun pods for $1,000. For $1,000 we could have had a limited release Spartan, Alaska 1A and VC-33 diorama - with opening doors and the plane could be lowered out of sight & raised back up again. Something cool and creative like that . . .

Mo-Suu-Pii-Dah Inbitoh in 1/48--Part Deux!

I think I would have asked for better claws from the lady in charge . . . -
IMO -- at a basic level - the computer, or games, consoles, do more for you so you have to do less. Less imagination on your part, less energy expended. Its human nature ( for the most part ) to gravitate towards the easiest route for everything. Wonder what affect that will have over time on the future? ------ As far as CMs - They took on many obscure titles and releases which I admired them greatly for. But the quality was so suspect that I eventually wrote off anything they are coming out with - no matter how much I wanted it. So that is not a good way to pull in more sales . . .

Yes - in a way. More of a bash. They are not resins or re-casts. Hopefully I will have full picks of custom 1/60 Meltran pilot figs next week. They were sent out for a commission around Oct. 2012 and all came back to me Jan. 2014 - 0% done. Supposed to be completed about the time of my Zentraedi guys so I could bring them out all at once. Oh well - its been a fun 2 month Meltran scramble, & massive challenge -- but I'm glad I got a chance to do them instead . . .

I do like a challenge, but not overly unnecessary or frustrating ones. If the MG Ka had not come out I would have likely gone with the resin, but since it has it makes little sense not to pick it up. THX . . .

Gundam Newbie here - but I have wanted a Sazabi kit for some time. And this combo kit what I used to look at - it was always quite expensive to get the resin parts plus the MG Zaku. http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_sacat=0&_nkw=gundam+sazabi+MG+ka&_sop=15 But now that the MG Ka has come out these prices have dropped dramatically for the old resin versions like this?? And I bet the new MG Ka is still a much better choice than this combo though right for fit and ease of assembly? Plus the extras you probably get with Bandai. So Ka or Combo kit?

MIKE - if Kamjin had as much cockpit room as shown in the anime, and stepped out of that thing - how tall do you think a 1/48th Z guy would be at that scale? Just curious - Enjoying this thread immensely . . .
