  1. They look good. Bandai SPEC will be hard to beat tho. Never heard of Tag HOBBY. Hope they have that panel lined look as shown in the photos . . . ( lit up from inside? )
  2. ZWARTH in hand. Great sculpt, details and gimmicks. Joints too loose, especially hips -- he falls backwards due to the giants back-jets...
  3. Was not going to get any more RS, but my Dunbine and Billbine need a foe - and I'm a sucker for enemy mechs. In this case enemy Battlers. Here is ZWARTH. Great sculpt, nice attention to detail and cool gimmicks -- as usual with this line. And as usual all the joints should be tighter than this. Too fiddly and easily bumped out of place, or parts knocked off. Hip and waist joints too loose. Making him stand upright and not tumble backwards due to his giant-jets is difficult. Really like the use of gloss and matt blacks. The red organic muscle-like substance is a nice touch, but it could have been even better if they had used a translucent material like his wings. Imagine the chest and shield texture in a semi-clear red instead. Gimmick to open chest to see cockpit quite cool and complex - wish there were a pilot fig. Ball cannons are just that -- ball cannons. There appears to be a flaw in the battler design itself too that is not realized until one holds the figure. The large shield spike would extend back into the fragile insect wings and rip them up just with casual movements - but hey - its pretend. One of the best features is the flying mode, viewed from the back. Those very strange feet curled up and all the jets pointing backwards is very cool. The small circle vents on the side should have rotated so they could be aimed in the direction of flight - they do not. His pretty big - nice enemy to face Dunbine and the Fow in a diorama set-up . . .
  4. I might be in for this. From the Collection DX review of the Galvion fig: "If you like Galvion you've probably already bought this toy. If not you should! When are we going to get another Galvion toy? Probably not for a long time. Overall its a good figure with my main complaints being the paint and weak knees. At 14,800 yen it is a bit expensive but I would say worth it for a Galvion fan." Makes the upcoming review for the Megahouse Orguss really easy: "If you like ORGUSS you'll probably get this toy no matter what. If not you should! When are we going to get another ORGUSS toy? Probably not for a long time. Overall its a good figure with my main complaints being the paint and weak knees. At 14,800 yen it is a bit expensive but I would say worth it for an ORGUSS fan."
  5. THIS. Looks extra thick - you can hardly see through it - and its cracking. Its why I kept her canopy open while taking the pics . . .
  6. The Mospeada market is pretty small - so we may not see many more releases for it. As I transformed my Yamato VF-1s to pack them all up --- the materials, the tightness, the LITTLE TABS on the arms, calves that make them so solid in fighter mode --- made me weep they did not do a Legioss! A truly modern -- CAD Produced, high quality material, Snap Tight -- Legioss and Tread would be awesome . . .
  7. Couple more pics from that same morning . . . Like seeing Ohta's face in this one . . .
  8. I think with the Arcadia GBP announcement folks will be in luck soon with a M&M re-release. Until then -- enjoy these pics. My Millia rainbow canopy is a mess, so you Arcadia buyers will get to avoid that issue at least . . .
  9. Those custom Gakken pics are spectacular. Have wanted to pick up an old Gakken with hopes of trying that myself someday - but auction prices for good ones have remained very high. Perhaps these pics floating around have helped keep those prices so steep . . .
  10. Just the long rifle - it looks great with the Toynami. There was a set or two of the CMS option parts up for auction but I do not see any now. On the Legioss and Tread sets -- My Toynami blue and green Alpha Betas are much better than the red set in quality and fit. I would try a blue or green Toynami combo and see what you think. Alpha hands are terrible though - they crumble - so brace yourself . . .
  11. TOYNAMI !! ( just wanted to post the pic again cuz it was a pain to do ; / )
  12. Moving soon. The Red Shoulder is from the Oddon Weapons Set. I like the color, side vents and antenna on the from that set on The TC...
  13. Took some pics before I packed up my LRS . . .
  14. Cool WF creation: https://www.rinkya.com/en/auction-h191395927
  15. Much thanks to KICKER for selling me a set of his M&Ms. Had to practically pry them away, but he was exceptional to do business with. And props to EXO for his great custom 1/60 flight deck crew. He should have these for order soon (if not already). I call these pics: 'When Everyone's Super' . . .
  16. I would not 'be in' for much right now - but I'm in for a Spartan and Phalanx - preferably weathered versions...
  17. Think this is the right thread for this - kind of a Gundam novice. I picked up a Gundam Metal Fix #1004 - really, really like the piece. Such a hefty, solid feel. Lots of extras and the tampo is so crazy awesome. Took some outdoors shots before I packed it up . . .
  18. I got a 1/100 resin Jagd Doga kit. Can anyone help with eBay links to the right upgrade and fancy doo-dads for this? Like metal nozzles and hoses and such that are the right scale to spruce it up?
  19. Not interested at $75, not interested at $1 . . .
