  1. I remember seeing a couple of pics with some broken diecast parts and a couple of members with missing fins... But yeah, nothing to panic about.@kyrie - protip: you can generally be patient getting Yamato/Arcadia regular releases but if it's a web exclusive and you decide you really want it, better preorder it coz its price is only going to go up. Can't decide if i want this YF-19 to be a web exclusive or regular release... I think Isamu's ride is popular enough for Arcadia to decide for it to be a regular release.
  2. Can't decide if i'll get this or wait for a TV Roy... Only Roy i have left is my worn down DYRL 1S after I recently sold my TV ver. coz of paranoia over it yellowing... It's just too damn white!
  3. Off the top of my head... no oversized gullet, new transformation similar to Yamato VF-19s (so shorter Battroid), everything is flush in fighter mode - no gaps, chest locks, GERWALK locks, and that awesome looking high speed configuration... i may have missed something... Oh, better articulated hands.
  4. Seller is from here... What I hope is that the one who got it won't just flip it.
  5. I've always wanted a VF-19A (and VF-11B Ravens) from the VF-X2 game back when i first got my Yamato 19. I still want one now... w/ the Arcadia brand on it.
  6. That high speed mode wing configuration pic looks yummy! Can't wait!
  7. First i've heard of this GBP reissue rumor... I hope they make a 1/60 Urban Camo version... I really thought that Yamato would milk the GBP mold with other schemes when they first released the tv version. As for VF-1 reissues, i would just like to have a second chance at getting a VF-1D VR... that's it.
  8. He wanted to see that part circled in red???
  9. LOL, shitty plastic... Good one...
  10. Best is to mix and match... 2x2.5" rods + 1x4" rod... 2x4" + 1x6"... You get the picture...
  11. Nice! 1/60 Regult vs. VF-1s look awesome.
  12. Translation: sh!t! I want this but i already spent too much on my titty statue addiction...
  13. Unless you're a person who can settle for a lower quality product, i guess a v1 is okay for $50 imo. But if you're like me and have seen the v.2 Ostrich, there will be a feeling of regret everytime you look at your v.1 Ostrich. I'm glad i got mine when i did when it was easily available and at its lowest price (and i'm also glad i got original replacement hinges) coz even if Arcadia releases this, i don't think i'd be happy paying the JPY20,000-25,000 that they are gonna ask for it, even if it comes with a stand and option parts (w/c i don't need coz my Ostrich only transforms between Fighter and Half-GERWALK).

    Fixing my 11B

Happened to my 11B too last year. The easiest way to avoid this is to push the cockpit part up and the main body down when unlocking this tab. I fixed mine by cutting a small grey piece of plastic from a discarded sprue tree. While it is relatively small, it's still bigger than the piece that broke off. I then super glued this to the broken tab and filed it until it was about the same shape and size as the original tab. It's stil holding up fine... I'll try to take a pic later...
  15. Ditto. It's still pretty easy to sell the VF-1 v.2 Yamatos for it's acquisition price these days as long as it's mint even if displayed (provided you were able to buy them when they were ~$100 back in the day). This is due to the inflation of not just Macross toys but pretty much all collectible toys. But i understand why some collectors are concerned about the value of their collections since it's always at the back of their minds to one day sell their collection and expect to make a profit.
  16. Anybody know what these are?
  17. Plus (pun intended) displaying the YF-19 and YF-21 with similar stands will look much better imo. Now i'm thinking i need one more stand for the 11B... w/c means one more VF-1 ... I would go for a VF-1D VR, stealth or lowvis like the 1/48 style LV1.
  18. I may have to get me one of these so i can get the stand and use it for the YF-19... and my DYRL Roy is pretty beat up already (more than 50 transformations, paint chips etc.), so this'll be a good chance to update the collection.
  19. Looking really fine!... and f*cking expensive! Gonna have to just close my eyes and not think about the price when i buy this. Looks like it's not gonna get a stand like the Arcadia VF-1s... hope they include stand adapters for this to mount on those stands included with the VF-1 releases. If these are like the YF-21 stand, the attachment point of the adapter should be circular. EDIT: looking at the VF-1S Hikaru pic on the other thread, it looks like it'll work using that extra tubular piece. Between this and any all new valk, i'm hoping Arcadia can squeeze in a Hikaru VF-4 repaint...
  20. Lol, and i thought that was your own MP Vehicle Voltron you were posting pics of... I'm still on the fence... but here's a video made by our local distributor for this MP Voltron saying "improvements" are being made for the supposed "version 2" that's coming out this August (kinda like that sh!t that Takara pulled with MP9)... He also mentioned that this is an officially licensed Voltron product...
  21. Yay! Removable intake covers! ...i see Arcadia has a copy of Bandai's new VF-1 kit... Probably just for some in-house sh1ts and giggles.
  22. What dislocated knees???...what i can't unsee is its dislocated pen!s... errr crotch.... errr nosecone.
  23. It's purpose is for the transformation, not really for added articulation. V.2 VF-1 has them, most Bandai DXs have them... It's the one thing i miss when changing the pose of my 11B trying to mimic the poses i can do with my v.2 VF-1s. But hey, like i said, mine's gonna stay mostly in fighter mode since i'm expecting it to be shorter in b-mode.
