  1. thanks for the pics! good thing i saw this... was gonna pre-order a ton of flexidisplay stands through a friend in the states when i realized it would cost the same as a nice glass display cab... good thing i saw these pics first... but i'm still buying a few flexidisplays...
  2. can you give an update on how the actionbase1 works out w/ the v2 1/60, and where and how much? thanks, man.
  3. still thinking if i will get the 1A (waiting for news about hikky 1S), might just wait for the release of the 1/60 1J and 1D (x2!)... BTW, is your 19 the latest re-issue? still holding off on buying the 19 'til there's confirmation that all of them have the fixes.
  4. just wiggle it in (sound obscene )... just make sure not to make the cover go sideways too much (that might've been the cause of the reported breakage). it would have been better if the cover was attached using plastic nubs on both sides, if it pops out you can just pop it back in...
  5. did it just now... unfastening the swing bar from the backpack helps as it gives you more space to work with. try pulling the cover (w/ care!) w/ your 2 index fingers on both sides until you free the connection of the metal bar from the cover... after its free it just slides up... worked for me.
  6. nice pics pare... one other complaint... seems the paint application on the metal parts are still the same w/ the 1/48s... if you're not really careful, the paint will chip off gradually after a few transformations...
  7. sorry if OT... are those weathered looking gn-u's (top of page) or there's something wrong w/ my eyes? it has a different price... BTW, VF-1J and 1D... great news indeed...
  8. just get both and swap the heads... you'll get an instant hikaru 1s (albeit with yellow arrow) and a one-of-a-kind focker 1a
  9. hi new here... IMHO, owning the new 1/60 VF-1 makes you want to collect these instead of the 1/48s... easier to display (smaller and lighter), new, 30-40% cheaper (easier on my wallet!) and very pretty... although, i feel the 1/48 is much sturdier coz of the 2 potential problem areas previously mentioned (ball-jointed shoulder much much tighter than the square part(?) it's connected to ; cover for the hip-bar connection - make sure not to make it go side-ways when applying force). but i think if one is careful enough, nothing will "break just by touching it."
  10. is your yf-19 the current re-release? i checked the yamato jp website and its available for order again. are the qc issues fixed on your yf-21?
  11. hi! just a warning to check out the feet of your yf-21 before transforming... there's at least one out there with two left feet... i got the one with the two right feet, luckily i got a replacement from my local dealer.
  12. anybody got scratches coz of the retracting backpack? any tips on how to touch it up? ...or just leave it alone...
  13. the thigh joint/swivel on my sv-51 nora has become a little loose... will tightening the screw located on the inside thigh make it tighter?
  14. QUOTE (Nexx @ Jun 7 2008, 04:36 AM) * got mine yesterday. Great plane, but same problem as the wing of sv51, the right wing fall sad.gif question??? doesn't the yf-21 have the locking mechanism under the wing like sv-51 nora?

    VF-OS or VF-0A

yeah, i saw the ad... i meant that the VF-0s w/ ghost has the fixes, right? I just wanna make sure if the actual valk was not replaced with the defective one coz the box is not sealed...

    VF-OS or VF-0A

how can you tell if the actual VF-0s is the 2.0 w/ fixes just by looking at it? I'm planning to buy VF-0S w/ booster from a local retailer, but i don't know if they'll let me handle it and check if the feet lock in battroid... are there other signs? i'm paranoid that maybe the valk was switched with a ver1.0.
  18. yeah... PLEASE!!! everybody!!! don't debate with "low key"... waste of time...
