  1. not a movie but i used to love watching this 80's time travel TV show - Quantum Leap.
  2. could be... so far all the pics i've seen were right shoulders. i also noticed that the part where the intakes/thighs latch onto in fighter/gerwalk are metal on the new 1/60 whereas on the 1/48 it's plastic. personally, i would've preferred they kept it plastic coz its a friction part and it'll be annoying when the paint starts chipping coz this part is visible in fighter/gerwalk modes, unlike the other metal parts w/c are hidden in all 3 modes... 2ยข
  3. if this is the case for everybody, then essentially Yamato used the same part for both the left and right shoulders. hmmm.
  4. I just noticed on my v2 1S that the shoulder hinge pin is upside-down on the left shoulder (thick part w/ teeth on top).
  5. you can use the "U" attachment and slot the gunpod into it, no need to remove the head.
  6. nice! ... but when i saw the underside thumbnail i said " where are the arms?" ... looking closer... are the arms supposed to be recessed that far in?
  7. nice! more pics. ....wish i had even little talent to build one... my only talent is to wait for someone to come out with a VF-4 toy...
  8. thanks for that link, really nice vf-4... if someone was able to do that in '06, bandai should have no excuses making the vf-4 by next year. ... but that's some funky transformation... arms and legs near the middle of the wings???
  9. just watched gg... HA! PIRATES! all i can say is "aye, aye Kanchyou!" Mac 1/4 vs. Battle Frontier anyone? scanned through it again and it hit me that Michael is really not coming back...
  10. i'd be pissed too if that happened to me... the plastic covering the pin maybe a little on the thin side when compared to some TF toys that use the same type of metal pin (w/ teeth on one end).
  11. for the future releases, maybe. but i would doubt that a solution would be given by yamato for any broken v.2 valks that have already been purchased.
  12. man, that's bad news... hope you can glue it back on somehow and not end up like the pic linked in the other thread by David H. (http://macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?act=...st&id=56116). i already have the scratches on the tailfin...
  13. that ain't good enuf for me. implants at least . and some bulging n**py action, like in the anime
  14. any info about if these MacF valks have some kind of attachment or slot for it to be mounted on Bandai's Action Base stands, just like for Gundams? that would make it easier and cheaper to display these.... or would these be too heavy?
  15. i would get the max only. holding out for hikaru1S for this series. too many hikaru and enough of that potato 1A head biggrin.gif hikaru 1S would be a good re-issue for this line.
  16. hope somebody does a macro klan 36++++++ DDDD!!!
  17. isn't that the tomahawk from the waist down?
  18. looking at the pic of the defender on m3, i hope yamato doesn't make the color of the destroid look like brown dog p00...
  19. ahhh... there are tabs on the inner side that connect it to the bottom of the chestplate (the metal part, i think). just wiggle it sideways to free it.
  20. LOL! yeah, really hate his hair...
  21. let one of your fingernails grow long for a few days...
  22. you can replace the FP cover to make it either super or strike FP. i guess the pic on the 1A box shows it as a super FP coz AFAIK the 1A was never shown with strike FP on DYRL (correct me if i am wrong).
  23. swoosh's pics of the new 1A in this thread has that...
  24. you said it, pre! now to wait for the announcement of the inevitable max1A... and max/milia 1J, VE and VT etc.
  25. the wing comes off pretty easily, there's just 1 screw to remove (painting is not an option. me=lousy painter)... but if they're gonna do the max 1S, they better tell us soon!
