congrats . maybe when you get your (i'm assuming) shoulder hinge for your 1S, you could report back if it's a fixed/non-cracking/non-breaking hinge. This would really help resolve the whole 1/60 ver.2 shoulder hinge issue.

almost bought this too back in June, i think... was all ready to pay but when i saw how small it was, i backed out... i wish someone would make a bigger one, even if it was just a bit bigger than a 1/48... i would gladly pay 2x what the Wave costs.

yeah, give us some details. what did they say? do you need to pay for your part? do you need to send them the defective part? etc. etc.

when i saw on the other thread that they're asking for Y2000 each for the Fast Pack add-on for the GNU's... it does seem that they tend to become greedy at times... on a different note, i think making these "Limited Exclusive" stuff makes them "greedy" or maybe selfish (not money-greedy). the first time i saw the weathered 1S, i didn't know it was gonna be a limited release, i just really liked it coz it looked awesome, not because it's an exclusive item. i think it's greedy or selfish of them to leave the countless non-Japan-resident Macross fans salivating. i dunno, somebody said it might be a culture thing, this Limited/Exclusive thing.

heard from a store i get Yamatos from that it's already fully-booked... so all's left for us foreigners is to wait for it to pop-up in evilbay.

while my vote would go to Hikaru's VF-1S... Roy (the character) still is ace! His death in DYRL is more dramatic and heroic and let's not forget he taught Hikaru everything he knows from planes to women.

this sounds like a very cool idea. i'd love to have a Macross dining set (plates, placemats, utensils), a Macross towel, Macross bedroom slippers etc. (maybe Macross speedos ...not)... but where does one find these things??? hmmmm, maybe i'll try a local "personalize it" shop.

I'm waiting for the new 1/60 m&m to be announced too, it took all my willpower to resist the 1/48 m&m set that i saw going for a very good price of around ~US$260 (for both!) just to wait in agony for any news of the new 1/60s... the revos are for battroid (obviously! ) and v.2 m&m i would display in fighter or gerwalk.
