looking at that DX vs. model comparison blog... i feel really bad for those who love to pose their valks in Gerwalk/Half-gerwalk mode... the DX G-mode sucks a$$ bigtime...

all that talk about the crummy DX pilot fig made me play around with the new 1/60 Yamato pilot figure (Hikky 1J)... i discovered that you can actually twist the head left or right... it's not "head articulation" by any stretch of the imagination but its pretty cool when the valk is in Fighter or Gerwalk esp. and in an angled view and the pilot fig can look straight at you.

the difference is pretty significant. you can see the whole pilot on the DX and almost the whole cockpit. Model Kit vs. DX

these two really suck the most... i was already kinda liking it. VF-25 Renewal Version please Bandai. (just like the taller GX-01R).

nice B-mode poses sans Urkel ankles!... albeit a few mm shorter. but it does looks better... looks so much better.

there was one 1A reported to have a cracked shoulder hinge.

thanks for the pics. the locking legs in Fighter is good news. any paint scratching or chipping during transformation? can the part i circled be locked or squeezed to fit more flush? it kinda makes the fuselage look a li'l bit droopy in side-view. thanks.

yeah, gave the 1J's TV FPs to my 1S too. the 1J looks far better in B-mode w/o the FPs IMHO. now he's just waiting for his GBP Armor . Merry x-mas.

was it specified which mode locks in together tight? F, G or B? or all? if it's tight in F-mode that'd be great.

didn't notice the pilot figure... it looks deformed.?

not bad, not bad at all. i just hope the upper chest part behind the cockpit in fighter doesn't always jut out like on the YF-19.

you gotta watch it now! you gotta get this - it's one helluva handsome figure.
