    Not into SDs but will probably get the normal looking lion and vehicle force voltrons. That SD Vehicle Voltron reminds me of Lord Farquaad... šŸ˜†

    Since this is Robotech they're doing, I really hope threezero (or KC or maybe even Sentinel) would get around to making a hovercraft from The Masters/Southern Cross even if it's a reimagined/stylized/modernized design. It's the only thing I don't have in my collection that I've always wanted to have since I was 10 years old. I'm very happy with my Evas from threezero so I hope they're successful with this line.

    Since my Legioss now has a complete pair of intake covers I decided to transform it for the first time. Got a little scary with the tight shoulders and that crotch rotating plastic thingy. Thanks to jenius for the transformation video.

    Sometimes persistence pays off. Looked for another way to contact Sentinel and they sent me a replacement for my missing intake cover. Now my green Legioss is complete/perfect! šŸ™‚

    I meant that Sentinel had that red paint all along. And they have the red plastic they used for the Zetaā€¦ and still. Someone at Sentinel with a lot of pull must have really wanted a pink/magenta ride armor. I also agree that itā€™s a miracle we have these at all. I do envy your guts and skill to be able to paint Houquet. Looks good šŸ‘

    Good times indeed. I miss those days when Macross toys were reasonably priced and you could wait for it to be released, watch/read a review, see if itā€™s a solid release w/out issues and then decide to get it or not. But if you read the posts from back then, we always still found something to complain about šŸ¤£. Sometimes you truly canā€™t know how much of a good thing you have until itā€™s gone.

    Yeah, they look very nice indeed. My favorite is the 02 because of all the accessories and the color. I did find something wrong on the Unit 00, well not on the eva itselfā€¦ Iā€™ll wait until you get yours and see if youā€™ll notice. The 2 youtube reviews I watched totally missed it. šŸ¤Ŗ

    Perfectly sized Evas for my collectionā€¦ and thank goodness itā€™s not from Bandai. I think Iā€™m gonna rewatch the movies now.

    Slowly getting back to collecting while playing catch-up after a long hiatus. Iā€™m really glad for these new toy companies. I finally have an Eva collection all without having to go through Bandai.

    Thanks No3ljm. I think it was on the same dates as ToyConPH but it was not at the main venue, some other SM Mall near us. Havenā€™t been to that mall in ages and was just gonna buy some home stuff and there it was, an MISB Riobot Legioss Zeta on the bottom shelf no one was paying any attention to. Everyone was busy ogling at the DX Voltes V and Carbotix Voltron. I was literally cradling it in my arms all while chatting up the owner for around 30 minutes before paying for it šŸ˜‚šŸ¤£.

    Got a sweet deal from a local fellow collector on the Green Legioss. Brand new but with a very minor qc issueā€¦ missing one of the intake coversā€¦ which is why I ended up paying only $130 for this šŸ˜ƒGood thing I prefer displaying in fighter mode. Tried emailing Sentinel for a replacement but they only cater to Japan residents. Now my display is perfectly symmetrical. Canā€™t believe itā€™s been more than a decade since Iā€™ve wanted to have a dedicated display shelf just for Mospeada stuff. Started with the Megahouse VRs and then the Toynami Cyclonesā€¦ sold those off to fund these Riobot figures. Iā€™ve been lucky with getting theseā€¦ didnā€™t preorder anything and the most I paid for is $180 for Yellow/Lancer. The Zeta I just happened upon a small, local ToyCon while at the mallā€¦ chatted up the collector selling his stuffā€¦ bonded over 80ā€™s stuff (Macross/Robotech, Voltes V, Transformers, Dragon ballā€¦) and got a pretty good discount šŸ˜. Plastic blissā€¦

    Somebody here mentioned something about looking at her face from the bottomā€¦ but I discovered that if the lighting comes from below, she loses the silly smile (upward curve on the sides of her mouth)ā€¦ gives her kind of a scowling look. Sheā€™s actually growing on me the more I see her on display. But if someone successfully makes an accurate headsculpt, i hope they make it available for everyone who has a Houquet. šŸ˜Š

    Itā€™s been agesā€¦ but I just wanted join in on the sentiment about how gratifying it is to finally have a complete set of ride armors on display despite all its shortcomings.

    Personally, i don't like using that GERWALK joint for battroid static/standing poses... and i hate how it makes the thigh look like it's broken or something. (Sorry for posting old pics... Sadly, i won't have anything new until this comes out )

    Now that's a proper low vis... Yamato really should've gone with something like this for the VF-1S low vis.

    It has been mentioned several times here and on other VF-1 threads that Arcadia will be releasing the Super Strike parts... so better start saving up... No definite info on price yet. I'm pretty sure it'll include option parts but i'm curious to see whether or not they'll include the stand.

    I'd be interested in a VF-1A Hikaru by Arcadia too since this was never reissued by Yamato with any of the fixes or updates to the v.2... that and i have an extra set of SSPs lying around here somewhere that i could put on it.

    Guess i'm not one of those members... I was only looking to get back what I paid for it and not lose any money. I had it displayed since i bought it and enjoyed it while it was part of my collection... I was just paranoid it would start yellowing soon coz of how white it was and save myself the same disappointment i felt when my 1/48 VF-1J (my first ever valk) started yellowing last year. I guess that's another issue with the 1/48s... older product - older plastic - more prone to yellowing.

    Personally, i would sit tight and see what happens after Arcadia releases their initial VF-1 offerings... unless it's a very, very good deal and you don't mind not getting the option parts. Btw, i just sold that same valk (displayed, never transformed) for $120... so, $150 may be a tad much, imo... Just when the Yamato panic started i was still able to get a Hikaru 1S 30th Anniv. Ed. for $125. The new Arcadia DYRL VF-1S is going for 14,400JPY at amiami, roughly $150 (w/out shipping) and it comes with the option parts and a stand. As for the Super/Strike parts, those are technically for DYRL VF-1s... You will need the TV ver. Super Parts for the TV Focker. It will obviously fit on the valk, but if you're anal about these things, it might bother you some.
