  1. tried to translate that w/ babel fish... i think they were saying that the plastic seemed "crispy" ... and wtf does "Lebanon" have to do w/ anything??? knife looks cool... luminous? wouldn't it suck if the 1/100 Ozma doesn't have bendy head lasers...
  2. Zentraedi pickle ships! now that's funny ...somebody was drowning w/ that other joke in the other thread...
  3. fragile... hhmmm... smells like a YamatovsBandai plastic debate in the offing... ...anybody care to translate the review? Babel Fish doesn't really help much.
  4. Graham mentioned that the v2 VF-1's after the VF-1D will have a thinner pin for the shoulder hinge... you might want to wait and get those instead... EDIT - if you want to get a 0S, make sure its the latest (Dec '08) re-issue... you can tell by the extra padding (bubble wrap and cardboard) at the back of the valk to prevent bent tailfins... i've had a chance to handle a floppy 0S and the new one is tight, almost as tight as the new v.2 VF-1's.
  5. QFT... now that is the way a CC should be used... took me 3+ years (and lots of fights ) to convince my wife ...
  6. no cracks yet on mine w/c i got just last year... but i did loosen the screw w/c is on the right side of the neck to relieve the stress it was putting on the plastic w/c might have caused the crack on melbin's 19...
  7. knowing Roy... he would have his seat pulled all the way back so his lady can sit (ass or face, whatever) on his lap!
  8. COOL! love maz ... hope they make the scrander for the toy just like in that 2nd pic...

    yf-19 problems?

most probably a case of an over-tightened screw... when i first saw jester's cracked 19 i checked on mine and saw some stress on the plastic exactly where his cracked... i just disassembled the right leg to access the screw and loosen it up a bit and the stress on the plastic was gone almost immediately.
  10. LMFAO!!!!
  11. how big?..... no, how much???? i'm really glad i backed-out from getting the Wave one at the last second... this is just WOW! ... screw the budget... i want one!
  12. depends on what "alternate" means... from Bandai again or from someone else???
  13. EDIT - don't know who's right... coz its Yamato packaging/box but there's a CM's logo on it. pic courtesy of Angolz... it's just $12 now
  14. it was... but now it's FACT!

    yamato's next move

if that's true, i hope there'll be pictures of it and that it won't be a limited thing...
  18. awesome, massive collection! very neatly organized too! EDIT - noticed the wires... cool what you did for the ones w/ led lighted eyes!
  19. in my book, a transformable toy for a transforming mech always beats a non-transformable rendition even if it could do yoga poses... ...but, yeah, these GN-U's do look good, but i would only get them after i have acquired the 1/60 version and it goes on sale and i have the extra $$$ for it...
  20. diecast? do you mean the LERX?... just snap it in? the plastic won't chip, but the paint on the diecast part will.
  21. definitely go for the 1/60 if you can only get one or the other... transformable definitely beats more poseable...
