Official Bandai 1/60 Scale DX Toy Thread Ver.5

good to hear that the prices for these have normalized... hope there will be some left by the time i go there, along w/ the 25G and the prices remain the same if not lower. BTW, how's your 25G? i really want to get a 25G also but i'm worried about getting one w/ the reported loose groin connection. so far, from what i've read, the 25G has the most reported cases of this... and i'm really trying to avoid having to apply nailpolish or whatever... seems like all the other 25s have a more secure groin connection. thanks! -

nice... that's the re-issue right? looks skinnier even (proly just something wrong w/ my eyes) lots of stocks there of this re-issue? how much? thanks! man, all these new pics are making me antsy... -
hope there's a trick to that bottom part of the heatshield and somebody figures it out soon...
-
great eye... i like the new skinnier-legs Isamu pilot up top, upside down. and who's that all-black one, is that Ivanov? but looking at the Milia pilot fig w/ the big wedding dress... can that really fit in the back seat of the new 1D? can't really tell if the legs are scrunched up like the Minmay fig...
-
great timing... was just changing the poses last night and haven't put them back yet... i don't think they're of any scale but you can check their product descriptions for their approximate heights... hope this quick pic helps...
-
what's w/ the bright purple??? ... thanks for the pics, looking forward to more + review...
-
you could've flexed your muscles transforming it instead... too bad for us, lunch hour is over...
-
we need some lunch-break pics!
-
it's ok man, found a scan here - VF-22S fr MC #13 ... thanks for the info. sly indeed... EDIT - cool, issue #13 has some nice stuff on Misa too (and her old man ) comparison pics - L -fr M3, R - fr MC#13
-
really? that's sly ... is there a pic of that posted here? would like to see that pic you're talking 'bout...
-
is that right or was that last part (..."it was me") changed... 5.0??? didn't even see 4.0...
-
the "yet" and the absence of "or not" at the end gives me a measure of hope...
-
...oh, and i forgot, Stephan's Pink 11B will be broken out-of-the-box...
-
oops... i thought this was a discussion about the "height" of the Zentradi civilization and not their literal "height"...
-
yeah, you built it wrong... the GN Sword XXV should be on the right arm.
-
LMFAO! ... haven't heard that in a long while! ... mine is my I.D. feature LOL ... really, the feet aren't out of proportion when you see/handle the figure in person... it'll probably be the only (if not the last) Daimos diecast fig. in the next 20+ years (excluding possible repaints)... and if you liked the SOC Voltes, SOC Daimos is certainly on par, if not better... i'm such a B.I.

ohhh, now i see it... your post was supposed to be an addendum... well, eugimon's post was sooo loaded w/ sarcasm, s'why i probably missed it... re: pink peckers... they could do a 3-pack so you'd get the whole squad in one go...
-
i remember hearing some people here would want a Pink Pecker and/or Milia... really?... even if the VF-11C has that "bland" look the Max/Kaki TV 1A have?... +1 on the M&M 22s
-
i do really like my 1/60 YF-19. it's the one that i catch myself staring at most in my display cab... it's just that when you see the cool stuff they've done w/ the YF-21/VF-22, VF-11B and they even improved the overall tightness of the re-issue VF-0S... you're kinda hoping they'd make improvements on the 19 too... heck, i'd be hard pressed to resist if they decided to come out w/ the VF-X2 VF-19A right now even if they didn't make any more improvements... i'll just keep the no. of transformations to a minimum...

i have... fairly easy, just squeeze one of the sides until the peg is out. i don't think the pegs will break unless you force it out while both pegs are still in their respective slots (BTW, it's easier to remove it if you pull out the whole cockpit/fuselage section first)... i usually remove it when i have it in fighter mode w/ FPs, so i can push down that hatch at the backplate so the antennae wont scratch the paint off of the vertical stabs... i even swapped the black skull heatshield onto my Hik 1J, and it looks fairly good on it...

FUNNY!... Max got pwnd... that ain't right...

coming soon isn't soon enough! ... lets say the Excalibur is indeed in Yamato's list and everybody's expecting it to be made eventually, then who would buy these repaints??? these are not like the v.2 1/60 VF-1 repaints w/c are much cheaper... on Yamato's site the 25th Anniv. 19/VF-22S are Y18,800 (pretty much what the price of the potential 19 repaints would cost) while a v.2 1/60 VF-1 is Y9,800. that's almost double the price...
-
looks great w/ the Stike Pack on... looks good w/ the blue skull sticker even if the heatshield is black... these pics are making it harder for me to wait for mine, argh...

yeah they're the "meh" Itasha Moe decals for the 1/60s... http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?...amp;mode=linear EDIT- re: the VF-19s... while the 19 is the best looking and coolest VF design IMO (esp fighter), i would prefer a canon scheme like the blue VF-X2 VF-19 Excalibur before anything else... they've done it in 1/72 and for the GN-U, so i don't see why they shouldn't start w/ this one... but i would only pick one up if Yamato addressed the fit, looseness, material/plastic issues that the orig. YF-19 had/has... and more tampo printing please... i'll post pics too like Miriya did from Mr. March's M3:
