  1. sorry man, but that pic of the Revo 1J and Regults made me cringe a little... looks like a gang rape scene but good idea w/ those pinpoint barrier thingys on the SDF-1.
  2. answering the question - Would you buy a v2.0 1/60 YF-19? YES... even if they make it 5-10 years from now? YES... if it comes out as tight and sturdy in all modes as the v2.0 1/60 VF-1s? Definitely YES... if they manage to take a chunk off of that gullet? Hell YEAH! the YF-19 is still my fave Hero Valk... and the only thing keeping the VF-1 tied w/ it is nostalgia. but right now, i'm pretty happy w/ my 19 (as long as i don't compare it to my other valks )... esp. after fiddling with it some, i've managed to figure out how to put it back snugly in fighter mode even w/ the FPs on and w/out anything popping off or getting loose. i can even hold it by the side of its legs and swoosh it around some . of course i'm always scared sh!tless whenever somebody reports a problem...

    Yamato stands

question to those who use the stand adapter for b-mode... does it in anyway hamper the movement of the hip joint? (sorry, mine are all in their respective boxes and in storage)

    Yamato stands

the 1st pic has the wings closed or almost closed coz the swing bar is disconnected to the backplate. the 2nd pic w/ the swing bar connected properly, the wings are partially open coz the stand adapter is in the way...

    Yamato stands

was planning to get one of the clear ones and even a blue one when it's released, but now i think i'll stick w/ my Bandai Action Base 1 stands and flexys... the bandai stand is pretty good for b-mode aerial poses w/out having to leave the wings open. Flexys are, of course, the best for f-mode...
  6. yep, i still really like staring at my 1/60 YF-19 coz i really liked staring at it in the anime... another reason why i still like my 19 coz it is the only YF-19 worth having right now... and while i'm w/ everybody in hoping that Yamato does make a 1/60 version 2 down the road, i'm doubting that they will anytime soon.
  7. Eureka???.... u mean Eureka 7? if so, +1 on that!
  8. they can delay the M&Ms all they want, just make sure that when they come out they will be sporting the "not so new" improved crotch attachment mechanism a la 1/48...
  9. nice! another one that i was waiting for to come out...
  10. cool vid... love Yoko!
  11. SOC GX-45 reviews/pics: http://ameblo.jp/digitamin/entry-10264395223.html http://www.toysdaily.com/discuz/thread-96729-1-1.html http://ga.sbcr.jp/mfigure/012952/

    Yamato stands

i like the ones w/ the clear base better...
  14. we're just waiting for this to be appended to the 2-seater thread. ... or not
  15. it's a VF, of course it's supposed to have a Battroid mode, doh! and unless i was unclear, i was only stating my personal preference when it comes to displaying my valks... everybody else can display/play/transform their own toys however they want to...
  16. another funny thing about this for me is, i don't really care much about the battroid modes for the VE and VT and can't even remember seeing them in b-mode in the anime... and i've all but decided to keep the VE-1 in fighter and the VT-1 in gerwalk or fighter when i get them later this year... doh!
  17. some new GX-45 pics... and some trading figs...
  18. LOL! ... lazy version... that's me alright!
  19. found some pics... seems they can change the hatch part only... the circled part is now shorter and wider compared to the previously released v.2s. could be that that part is now connected to the hatch just like on the 1/48s.
  20. yeah (though, IMO they should've learned their lesson by now)... but what i really would like to know is if Yamato is planning to do a re-tooled mold for the front fuselage/nose section part for the 1-seaters (and the 1D 2-seater) or will it really be "too much of a bother"??????? ahem, ahem, Gr-ahem, Gr-ahem, ahem....
  21. can somebody translate this (curious 'bout what it means): ◆オプションパーツ VF-1S、VF-1Aには付属していなかったTV版ポージングハンド(丸手)。左右各2種類のポージングハンドを差替えることにより、劇中のあのキメポーズが思いのまま。 got it from Yamato's site for the CF 1A. THANKS!
  22. just checked Yamato's website and the VT-1 has that same statement w/ the improved crotch attachment... makes sense since they have the same front fuselage/nose section... but looking at the CF-1A, i doesn't say that it will have this improvement... maybe the G-man can shed some light on this?
  23. seems like Yamato is taking a page out of Bandai's book w/ these incremental improvements a la DX... first the shoulder hinge, now this... while i'm all for these improvements, it still kinda sucks for my other v.2 valks... they really shoulda done these from the start... blah, blah, blah, blah, *%#$%^*&, blah, blah...
  24. now that is just effin' annoying! so, they're basically saying that starting w/ the Elint, these will be the 1/60 ver.2.5 VF-1s... if they're really going to change the crotch attachment for all valks after the Elint, i might just have to pass on the other v.2 VF-1s i'm planning to get and just wait for the v.2.5s... oh, well.... (looking for exasperated smiley... )
  25. nah... but i do remember one guy who customized his 1S to make it look like the TV ver. IIRC he painted the head arrows, triangles on the shoulders, modded the antennae, changed the color of the pilot seat to some green color etc etc... too lazy to look for that thread...
