it's the one that comes w/ the ichiban kuji figs, i just removed the arms and legs.

"...thanks for that bit about the weather... now on to some lighter stuff..."

just opened my Revoltech Gurren+Lagann (w/ Banpresto Ichiban Kuji figs) i like that it comes w/ this little plastic box where you can put the extra parts esp. the Lagann parts w/c are very small and have a tendency to get lost.

yeah, i meant the text... if it's an add-on or if it will be a whole new set that will include a Maz figure. (so i know if i should start peddling my MIB GX-45) and the middle and ring fingers (+ the thumb) are part of the God Scrander as you can see in the pic below of the model version... i believe the feet are covered by the wings and make up the wrist area.

thanks for the info on the cab. found a retailer at a local mall. i'm getting the double sized one, width=4ft., in wenge to match our other furniture and not piss off the missus. my VF-1's: after the 1/60 VE, VT and GBP armor, i think i'll quit my VF-1 habit for a while. i want a VF-0D after those three. -
or maybe "i'll put my fist up your a$$!"-Bandai

that's the crotch part of the SDF-1 you put there right? if so, it would have to be more than just "a few km" away for the horizon to cut it there from that view... anyways, no biggie, i'm sure that that pic was just meant to poke some fun on the legions of gundam fans out there.

the new re-arranged set-up w/ the Action Base stands look good... haven't gotten the new cab you were planning to get? Kaki TV 1A looks good.... 'grats! you finally have your Vermilion Squad... i was actually having second thoughts about getting a Kaki 1A for myself when i got yours... now you've inspired me to take a pic of my 1/60 VF-1's as well... -
i saw this pic posted on toysdaily and put a smile on my face.
-
but if you could wait a little longer, you could hold off for re-issues that will have the not so new and improved crotch attachment mechanism. so far only the VE-1 and VT-1 have been shown to have this. EDIT - added link - http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=30292 but i think you're too itchy to get a new valk to get over your v.1 1/60.
-
just get the ones after the VF-1D and you're fine...

wow! you've got 3 x YF-21s and your own personal airstrip!!! new challenger wins!.... but seriously, awesome job on that pic. -
thanks. well, it's supposed to be an artsy-fartsy silhouette shot ... or we could do Cent's suggestion and take a pic of the valk on a bed or something, magic wand it and then slap it on a background pic of the sky/space or something.

to be totally honest, i actually followed eugimon's advise and used the super fast shutter speed setting... i was just joshing around about 'shopping it...

lol... don't group me yet w/ those guys... i don't have enough dough to get the kind of gear they're sporting... maybe in a couple of years i'll think about getting a dandy DSLR, when i'm sure i can pay for my kids' schooling... i'm w/ you on this... -
i'm not really any good at photoshopping, but here's a try...
-
trying out a silhouette shot...

its worth is all up to you... depends on how much you appreciate it being a part of your collection. different people have different tastes after all. however, some food for thought... the cheapest ver.2 VF-1 w/ SSP i found on sale was a VF-1A Hikaru w/ SSP for only 80-85 USD (of course it has the shoulder issue). and the cheapest ver.1 w/ SSP i last saw a couple of months ago was selling for 50-60 USD. it's still your call in the end... as long as you're happy and contented w/ your purchase, that's all that matters.
