love these shots! LOL @ eugimon and vegas complimenting each other back and forth ... but honestly both of you take very very nice pics and sorta made me embarrassed at first for posting horrible photos and subsequently inspired me to take better ones... still haven't opened my new 11B and 25F (i know, i'm soooo late to the party...)... maybe by tuesday i can post pics of my new valks...

thanks for the review... guess i won't be getting anymore re-paints of this 1/60 YF-19 mold.

saw that too... not that nice in person, IMO... the big figures of Yoko and Lord Genome were also nice, but i don't collect those... the best ones aside from the ones i got were the set of nendoroid figs of Viral, Nia, Simon and Kamina... they were IMO hella-cute (can you say "cute" on this board??? :lol:... on par w/ the nendo MacF set of Alto, Micro Klan, Sheryl and Ranka), just not my cup of tea...

i don't collect static figs but i just couldn't pass these up (impulse buy...) esp. love the finish on King Kittan...

since i don't have anything new yet... here's higher-res. Guld smelling Isamu's a$$...

i'll only be getting the VT and VE for now and passing off on all the other v.2's until it's pretty evident that they've tweaked all that they can tweak on the v.2 VF-1's design...

not really... it like my 1J's pins... there's this extra metal on top of the knurling, kinda like the head of a screw, w/c hides the edges of the knurling when viewed from the top... it's still noticeable, at least to me, w/c side of the pin has the wider diameter...

just a higher-res. pic of Isamu with Guld in hot pursuit... and i'm off for some r&r and toy shopping...

only the 1/60 v.2 VF-1's released after the VF-1D have the non-knurled hinge pins...

if you're a big fan of Mac+, if you get just one, either the 11B or the 21, you're gonna want to have them all eventually... you might want to watch out for mr.chogokin's post regarding this month's re-issue of the Mac+ YF-19 when he gets it...

i'm worried too... it's the only one of my v.2 valks before the Max 1S that i haven't removed the knurling of the pin on. so far it's still okay. i may be putting too much faith on that message from Yamato saying they told their factory workers to be gentle when inserting the pins... i read somewhere that OD increased the s/h they charge to get these replacement parts... anyway, the bonus arm assembly is okay, but who's actually going to use it? (except maybe, for using it for funny action poses like w/ that old VF-0S pic of yours ) ... and i also read that the arm assembly doesn't come w/ the hand...

good thing i went through "all that procedure" on my 1J last Jan. when the first report of a 1J w/ a cracked hinge was posted... now i won't have to worry about ordering replacement parts from Overdrive (which, BTW, is pretty difficult these days) and paying 8-10 bucks for a puny replacement part...

massive collection MM... i bet your glass supplier is a very happy man ... your display is getting bigger and bigger! hope you don't mind that i borrowed your 3 x VF-1S "Mondrian" pic... couldn't resist...

Thanks guys! yeah, i think i'm sorta getting the hang of it, coz now i don't need to take too many shots ... only had 2-3 bad shots when i was doing the chase sequence... ...if i were any good at photoshopping i'd remove the stands and put in some flying bullets and some smoke trails...
