Kitz Concept Toy Thread 2.0

Haha. There was a 2/3 chance to get it right and they still got it wrong. Any pics in fighter mode? Are you even gonna transform it, lol?- 2199 replies

Awesome shots with all the different CMs figures. Your pics make them seem like good quality scaled figures. As for the shows, I don't think I'll watch M7 ever again... but to be fair, I don't think I'll ever binge watch SDFM again. It has more to do with getting bored with watching dated-looking animation. The only ones I rewatch are DYRL, Mac+ and maybe MacZero.

No improvements? GERWALK legs and ankles look the same and the headfin still doesn't sit flush on top of the head. Best looking mode is still fighter but I agree that the gold canopy is too much.

Kitz Concept Toy Thread 2.0

Looks cool. I'm seriously considering getting my first KC VF-1 (and 1st 1/72 scale whatever) as soon as the preorder opens from my local shop for the low vis. It's not white and the ad says it'll come with 1A and 1S head, the latter which I prefer. Hope you'll post about the low vis as soon as you get yours.- 2199 replies

That's great you got the replacement from Sentinel.

Yep. Even for someone who has a relatively smaller collection compared to others here, eking out every inch of available display space is a challenge, lol. After rearranging my other Macross shelf, I started fiddling with my other DYRL CMs figures to see if I can straighten their feet and legs well enough to make them stand without the included stands with just a bit of bluetack. Here's my current DYRL shelf because I suddenly preferred the SDF-1 in ship mode (2nd pic was my old setup). But I had to move the VT-1 and VE-1 to a different shelf. Now I'm trying to find a way to fit the VT-1 and VE-1 back while keeping the SDF-1 in ship mode. P.S. after more than 15 years, I only just discovered to remove the extra bangs on the CMs Hikaru figure so the front hair piece can fit flush and his eyes can be more visible

The way the 19 is posed looks like it's fully concentrating on propping up the 21 with his shield 😆

Check the previous page. This happened to at least two other members. Not sure if they got the replacement part they requested from Sentinel though. I changed the way my Zeta (in fighter mode) is mounted on the stand to almost vertical when I first saw this happen.

Yeah, all her assets can be seen though the transparent window. no glue for the CMs figures. Just the hot water hack and a lot of patience massaging the plastic. I had to redo Sara's and Basara's legs multiple times until they could stay upright without faceplanting after a few days.

Sooo tempted to get one of these... the preorder price for this, locally, is the same as the HMR VF-0A . But I try to avoid white valks as much as possible so I'll see if there'll be a preorder here for the low viz one.- 2199 replies

Nice to see some love for Klan klan . Used to have the Megahouse Armored Klan but never got to take her out of the box. now wishing I hadn't sold her

Rearraged some stuff to make space for the VF-0A and attached the sound booster to the Kai for the very first time

Got confused as well. The store where I preordered the 50th SOC Voltron (I wasn't able to get the first release coz of Voltes V level price gouging here 🤨) lists it at 22cm, but most other stores say it's 14cm. Even if it's diecast and with the anime accurate leg covers, 5.6" is really small for the $140 price tag. I actually considered this before eventually preordering the SOC coz I said to myself... for half the price, 22cm isn't too far off from 27cm. But the anemic lion legs really turned me off.

Miss these Robot Spirits figures, kinda lol. I remember these were extremely fiddly and the plastic quality wasn't great. Yours still look good. The Q-Rea ones were cool with the opening hatches for the 1/2 pilot and backpack missiles. Great pics as usual. I'll join in with a pic I posted long, long ago, lol

I too feel contempt towards Bandai. But, seriously, I like my SHFs mainly for their face sculpts even if scaling sometimes is off and there's a good chance you'll need to do minor fixes for QC issues out of the box. That updated Chun Li is looking pretty good esp. with the new "Yatta" faceplate. I really hope their Kenshin comes out nice so they'll release more figures of other characters from the series.

Might get a second Yellow for the saddle bags and it's my favorite in armor mode with those double blade thingys. I hope the blue Legioss is the next reissue. It makes sense if Sentinel is trying to gauge interest in the Tread... it's the main hero's ride, can be displayed in any of its 3 modes, can be displayed with the Tread in 3 configurations. Can also be kept inside the box for those who also like to collect an extra MISB.

Good. The buzzmod looks bad and my old revoltech is just OLD. Was tempted to get the Dasin but their scale was off.

"WHO THE HELL..." Was holding out for a Riobot version, but after 3 or 4 reissues of this kit, I don't think Sentinel will make one. I'm actually glad now, lol, coz this cost me only 30 bucks whereas a completed Riobot ver. would surely cost at least $100 more.

The 21 in the other thread looks to have even more.

That's funny... I've had my Yamato 21 displayed in fighter mode for the past 10+ years limbless, without its legs in my case (detached the bellyplates from the legs and tabbed into f-mode). The legs are in a plastic crate somewhere with other unused parts from other toys.

Bandai already has the sex and the money, easy. My theory is they're really into trolling collectors... esp. the obsessive, nitpicky ones. 🤣
