  1. can..... not..... stop..... laughing...... ... just classic.... will take years to live that down... .... just in time for MWcon??? sorry Agent...
  2. cool add-ons! i just want the 2-seater extra for my VF-1D. and LOL @ the pilot in the head comment/s...
  3. lol, i was being a bit sarcastic. i think i'll stick w/ the "just take it as it is and forget what you saw in the TV series" POV. that way i can enjoy and appreciate it more.
  4. i'm calling it the Gray Focker.
  5. if it's a prequel then after the movie they're supposed to leave earth, stay frozen for a few thousand years and come back to play the roles they did in the TV series? well, anyways, i just really like the characters, so it was fun to watch for me, i'll probably watch it again later ... and after Nirvash's Spec2 transformation/upgrade i stopped thinking about what happened in the series. i even liked the ending... or was i just distracted by Eureka's hotness.
  6. about the live-action movie... if ever one is made, and it will most probably be by an American Studio, it definitely won't be Macross. (probably an abomination of some sort) i say, just keep on making anime series and/or movies... that's where we'll get new Macross products.
  7. gotcha... i'll quit asking about it now. but yeah, you've got a good point there... as it is right now the hatch sometimes opens while posing the legs. now back to the M&Ms...
  8. i liked it... after re-watching it, i at least appreciated the fact that they did an "alternate reality spin-off" (at least that's how i see it) instead of just a re-telling w/ rehashed footage just like the first GL movie. other impressions: (SPOILER) - (just like eugimon mentioned) - yay! - - -
  9. cough cough cough cough cough cough cough.... i feel another closed thread coming... cough cough cough cough cough
  10. that wasn't a "Macross" movie little "Rick" Maguire was planning to make...
  11. just as long as he doesn't make Hikaru's VF-1S into an old fart and the rest of the mechs look like insects.
  12. well, i saw that pic already and the "pretty obvious" thing that bugs me about it is that it still looks a lot like the current v.2 1/60 crotch hatch and doesn't look like the one used for the 1/48s. on the 1/48s the hatch is not "U" shaped... the whole thing opens.... that block of plastic w/ the sticker isn't there and that's what makes it difficult to put in the swingbar on the current v.2 1/60s... (hard to explain/describe so i just attached a pic.)
  13. well, we won't know what exactly they changed until they release one and we get our hands on it... all i'm assuming at this point is that it will be easier to attach/detach the swingbar to the revised crotch attachment/hatch thingy.
  14. yeah, after checking the release dates for the M&Ms vs. the gray Focker, i think it's safe to assume that every 1/60 VF-1 after the latter will have the 1/48 style crotch attachment.
  15. of course we don't mind! @ Vegas - love the outdoor pics in your hacienda ...
  16. the (other) master is back! w/ a new (or used), bigger, better lightsaber! great pics as always Vegas! nice! now we get to see the contents of that drawer you were talking about... lol... yeah. my wife is giving me a make-up brush for dusting my valks...
  17. wow, M&Ms... damn, late again to the party... i'll get these maybe next year or follow jenius' advise and get these for my x-mas and bday presents, lol. any indication if this will have the 1/48 style crotch attachment? (i sound like a broken record... )
  18. great set-up Mav! wish i could go there to see it in person since Alain's been yappin' about how great it looks in person, lol ... great job, man!
  19. looks awesome! congrats to those getting this... i'll wait for Yamato to make Milia's VF-22S...
  20. i have high hopes for these RD Side-VFs since i currently have 8 RDs and i've seen the improvements they've done since the first few releases. the articulation has been greatly improved (some have mentioned it to be MG-ish now), tight joints all around, and the seams don't open up while posing unlike the GN-Us... they now provide extra solid (i'm guessing ABS) fins/antennae if you don't like the bendy PVC type they put on the figures. but i'm still hoping against hope that these could be transformable like the Nirvash Type Zero w/ some parts-swapping involved... but i figure that would be a long shot since they already have the VF-100 line.
  21. alright, i'll bet against you that the GBP Armor will just be an add-on...
  22. it's just personal preference... but for the sake of argument... if one of the two were to fall in my lap and i was in desperate need of money, yeah, i'd choose the LV1 and sell it off right away. but if i were to keep it and put it on display, then definitely the stealth color scheme appeals to me more. plus it's a 1J. IMO, the only reason the value (in monetary terms) of the LV1 went up the way it did was because of the limited nature of the release. but if it were the other way around and the stealth was the one w/ the "limited" brand on it, people wouldn't be paying too much attention (and money) to the LV1. just my 2ยข
  23. any info if it will sport the updated crotch attachment system just like on the gray focker?
