i kinda find it weird to start your M+ collection w/ a non-canon valk, but it could just be me. anyways, there was a recent re-issue of the YF-19 Isamu ver. that was released 1-2 months ago, before these repaints came out. mr. chogokin did a quick review on it... iirc it's on the same thread as what David posted. EDIT - page 20 i'm not entirely sure, but what Graham and ff95gj said about the repaints is basically what mr. chogokin said in his review on the re-issue. and based on their pics, all three still exhibit the same gaps in f-mode. hope this helps...

late as usual... just got my Armored VF-25S.... no biggie QC issues except for a couple tiny scratches where nobody can see 'em, thankfully no scratches on the head. wings don't bend upward too much, pretty much the same as my re-issue Alto. all i can say is... this is BAD A$$ w/ the armor on!

yeah, i really, really hate these exclusives too... but lately a lot more shops carry them and they're easier to get (just like the spade of MF stuff from Bandai). what sucks is that at MSRP they're already pretty expensive. add the fact that it's an exclusive/limited release, you'd most probably have to pay double the retail price if you live outside Japan. This limited GBP set will likely cost more than a 1/60 VF-1 w/ Super or Strike parts. i agree that the shaving cream doesn't look great, but i wouldn't mind if it came standard w/ a standalone GBP armor set, in fact it'd be cool. and yeah, some weathering will make the lines come out and it'll probably look better.
