  1. it's around 1.5k SAL and 2.3k EMS for Asia (JPY)... proly a bit more if shipped to the US... you can email them for shipping quote...
  2. dang! i had a hunch that Yamato would try to move some of their old stocks... so is the head new or did they just paint it to distract buyers???
  3. nice! i love the M&M 1Js on display! although that's a scary way to display Gamlin's 22S... nose might get clipped and then...
  4. based on the pics from hobby search, tampo printing looks the same as the first release VF-1J... and it looks like they still missed putting that triangle danger thingy on the sides right below the cockpit... unfortunately, they don't have any pics of the underside, as i am also eager to know if it does have the new crotch... btw, it definitely is disappointing that it has the same styled fixed posed hands for use w/ the armor parts... they should have changed it up.

  6. nice!... what's it made of?
  7. still can't get over those feet and the head design... ...plus, i'd like to have an SDF-1 first before any other Macross capital ship/carrier... looks like a lot of fun though... and nice looking hands.
  8. the depth of the detolf shelf is pretty good for displaying 1/60 v.2 Vf-1s... you can use some stands or some kind of elevated acrylic platform to display the VF-1s in battroid at the back while still being able to display other VF-1s in fighter mode on the front part or vise versa. as for the bigger valks (1/48, 1/60 VF-0 and Mac+ VFs), you'd have to angle them a bit to make them fit... and the max you could fit in one level in fighter mode would probably be just 2 VFs...
  9. VF-11B
  10. nope... best bet is to get the VF-1J w/ GBP-1S armor set that's due out end of the month/year.
  11. i think he means, it's been more than a year and Yamato still hasn't sent anybody to his house to fix the busted shoulder on his v.2 Roy...
  12. LOL ... i was kinda thinking the same thing, just zipped my lips... though, i'm surprised... i was expecting more...
  13. nice group pic... when i first got mine i liked it w/ the FPs on, but now i prefer it in fighter mode w/out them...
  14. nice... love the MG shot.
  15. you could try the ff: adjust that tight joint in the middle where the two pieces of the swing bar are joined before putting it in the crotch slot... and don't push the removable cockpit/torso part all the way up. my guide is the gray neck piece should be perfectly horizontal and not tilted back.
  16. @ff95 does it look like it might get floppy w/ repeated transformations just like the DX VF-25s?... the hips in particular... it definitely looks like something fun to play with... and... as tight as a v. v. ...lol
  17. nice... still prefer it in fighter mode... i like the pilot sculpt, very relaxed pose... although, in battroid, Yamato's Milia VF-22S can get away w/ those skinny legs and little feet... since it is a girlie valk . does it really have that pinkish red color or is it just the lighting?
  18. yay! another vote for the VF-1D! ... i would have personally given the VF-11B a perfect score and the top spot if only it had double-jointed elbows. <----- (spoiled w/ the 1/60 v.2 VF-1's 2xjointed elbows)
  19. i believe they did for the VF-0S w/ the Dec. '08 re-issue (fixed arms)... but yeah they didn't change the packaging if that's what you meant. ... and yeah, i absolutely love my SV-51 Nora.
  20. Granted some are still waiting for their last minute Macross toy hauls to arrive... for those like me who are done for the year, let's share our favorite valk purchase/s of '09... 1/60 v.2 VF-1D - just because of its nostalgic effect on me... whenever i look at it, it just brings me back to when i first saw SDFM on TV as a kid. i hope Yamato comes out w/ a "detailed-up" VF-1D w/ those t-rex add-ons so i'd have an excuse to get another one. other notables: - from DYRL? - 1/60 v.2 VE-1 - in toy form, i actually like the VE-1 that little bit more than the VT-1. - VF-11B - i just love the ease of its transformation and of course the heatshield (being able to display it in f-mode w/ the heatshield deployed). ... too bad the 1/60 v.2 GBP armor didn't make it...
  21. @MM - enough talk!... show us some test shots already!
  22. + 1 on those t-rex add-ons... and decals instead of stickers... guess i'll be holding off on buying any VF-1s until i see how this 'detail-up' thing pans out...
  23. 1/60 DX shoulder - all releases after VF-1D (although my VF-1D seems to be just fine and nobody has complained about theirs...) crotch - all releases starting w/ the VT-1... (VE-1, VF-1S LV, VF-1J M&M...) as for the repackaged (w/ penlight thingy) DYRL VF-1Ss w/ SSPs, we won't know for sure until it's released and somebody reviews them... some old pics...
  24. yep, Super/Strike parts add-on accessories are a must for any VF-1... and you're going to have a hard time finding any 1/48 SSPs these days and if you do, it'll definitely be overpriced. also, i would advise to make sure you get the newer released 1/60 v2s w/ better assembled shoulder hinges (for peace of mind) and new crotch attachment (for easier transformation and less paint chipping on the metal swing bar)... thanks... i like it too, lol so i'll repost it here to help populate this page w/ pics...
