  1. so, i've been asking around and still haven't gotten anything.... what scale are these Lancelot Albion and Gurren Lagann GFF Composite ver. Ka figures at, 1/100 (like the metal composite) or 1/144 (like the normal GFFs/GFFNs)?
  2. yeah, it will be sold to Japanese residents ONLY at that price, w/out the normal dist. discount that retailers usually get... so, good luck getting it for lower than 16800JPY x 130%... EDIT - my bad... the 50-100% mark-up is usually for smaller/cheaper items like the Robot Damashii exclusives. 30-40% would be about right for these more expensive figures like the DX VF-27... probably around $240-250 like the VF-25F Fold Clear ver. w/c retailed @ 1500JPY and is selling for $220-230.
  3. here's a link - http://www.toy-world.com.hk/forum/viewthre...;extra=page%3D1
  4. well, amiami just restocked the Vf-27 w/ "plenty"...
  5. LOL, that's one way of looking at it...
  6. those are VF-25 Supers w/ the 3600 EMS s/h... bigger box... which leads back to the question - "why is the VF-27 priced the same as a VF-25 w/ Super Packs and stand?"
  7. looks better, more mech-like... no more light blue.
  8. LOL , ron5864 was the one who posted those pics of his "modified" GBP for his 1D!
  9. i think this is a case of jacking up the price before putting in on 50% off sale... EMS from HLJ for the VF-27 is just 2800 JPY... and the box, at 36 x 27 x 8 cm is just a little taller than the Alto or Ozma standalone while the width and depth are just about the same.
  10. any chance we could get a side by side pic of the 27 w/ the SV-51 Nora in fighter mode?
  11. looks nice in fighter and gerwalk. looks like a brick in battroid ... also wondering about paint/tampo app. box size looks just about the same as the Alto or Ozma standalone (width & depth-wise) just a little taller (~5cm).
  12. me too... on display: w/ some neighbors... :
  13. awesome display, bluemax! love the extra 2nd level. gotta love fighter mode!
  14. i want one too... and yeah, in light gray. the bright white seems more prone to yellowing w/c will be accentuated by Focker's yellow stripes. man, all this Fuocker talk...
  15. ouch! ... but seriously, it looks a lot better w/ the lower hip placement.
  16. lol... looks like an angry bullfrog in that pic.
  17. last i heard (a few months ago) they'll be changing its name and setting up a new webstore for the stands.
  18. yay! VF-17D FTW! hate Basara, but love red robots, so i'll probably get the Kai. good thing i can still cancel my Hi-metal order. not a big fan of M7, but these new mold valks will be a good reprieve from VF-1 withdrawal syndrome...
  19. hope it comes bundled w/ the sound booster pack. would 1/60 scale be big enough for actual working speakers w/ mp3 player???
  20. check here - http://www.new-un-spacy.com/m3.html and here - http://www.yamato-toys.com/items/goods_lis...p;gid=1&sg= (just flip though the pages) EDIT - there are loads of transformation vids on youtube.
  21. oops... time to cancel the hi-metal VF-19 that's on order. where's the VF-17D poster/announcement?
  22. RD or DX, just as long as it's a regular release and not a web exclusive. btw, the Nirvash is the Spec 1... that Trapar wave stand support for its board looks cool...
  23. i believe that VF-0A re-issue is the CF. doesn't have the "Shin Kudo 0A" markings...
  24. this had been sold out at amiami since late Jan... i just inquired if they would have re-stocks, and then viola! too good to pass up w/ amiami's Feb. 50% off on shipping.
  25. reissues. new production run most probably since it's on preorder. and someone mentioned that the last reissue of the VF-0S was a little less whiter (more off-white or dirty white). if the Dec. '08 VF-0S reissue is any indication, these'll be all fixed up and tight... not as tight as the v.2 VF-1 but not floppy at all... i'm very happy w/ the reissue VF-0S i got last year. but my Shin 0A has been in fighter mode and will remain so forever (i did check the shoulders and they seem to be perfectly fine, no stress marks or crakcs... whew )
