just saw this on Toysdaily - Re-sale/re-issue of 1/60 VF-1J Hik standalone and with GBP bundle. May 2010. hope it's true and i also hope that these 1Js will be newly produced w/out any pin issues and new crotch attachment system. (maybe Graham can shed some light on this ). EDIT - guess it's real... Amiami just put up their pre-orders for these.

just guessing here... but if this will be like the GFF/GFFNs, since they're about the same size, the details on this figure will be top notch, accessories galore and will probably come w/ a display stand but poseability will be so-so. an expensive (for it's size), very nice looking and detailed display piece. and since it's labeled as a Ver. Ka... even just from the promo picture, it will definitely have some differences compared to what GL looks like in the anime.

haha... i would wear cotton gloves and then use any of the following things - a microfiber wipe cloth, 2 sizes makeup brushes - one larger and the other much finer for those hard to reach areas like the inner neck, elbows, knee joints etc... something like this.

"ouch!" - VF-1 you need to slide off the shoulder cover and loosen the 2 shoulder screws.

could be a sign that a movie color ver. may actually be in the works...

(preceded by a statement about when it was originally released) ...is part of the product description for the 1/48s and the YF-19, i'm guessing there won't be any modifications/improvements for the YF-21 either.

yeah Grand Cannon's page is where i usually look to plus the official Bandai site. Finally found a good deal on a Q-Rea... not new but comes w/ set of three Stage Act clear stands for only US$22. and speaking of the RD Q-Rea, amiami just restocked this... they currently have 6 pcs left in case anybody is interested esp. since they extended their 50% off s/h up to end of March. as for those just getting into these figures, i can't wait to hear your reactions when you realize that Bandai has gone totally insane with all the exclusives they've released and have yet to release for this line...

even if they don't do the other characters in Armor Plus Ex-Gear format, they should make them for the SHFiguarts Origin line (non Kamen Rider) since that's what the base Alto figure actually is. Sheryl in flightsuit would be a prime candidate though for another exclusive...

pretty close to what i predicted. i think that'll be the standard price unless you have some friend in Japan willing to get one for you and not charge you any service fee. you can try this guy if he will be getting the green VF-27. He usually sells exclusives only. The "buy it now" price would proly be the same as tokyohunter's, but he sometimes "auctions" at least 1 if he has multiples and the item isn't selling fast.

darn ... read somewhere that the Metal Composite ver. Ka Gurren Laggan will only be 15cm. tall and no mention of it having any diecast at all
