IMO, it would be cool. I was one of the guys who mentioned this even before the first proto pics came out. A macross toy with music, which is an integral part of Macross lore, would be awesome. I also think that Yamato would definitely be able to pull this off without it becoming tasteless like Hasbro's voice gimmicks on their TFs.

that's actually not that bad. but if it came down to just buying one, given the DYRL SDF-1 and TV repaint were the only 2 options, i would definitely just go with the anime accurate one. my ocd would drive me crazy with the TV repaint.

can somebody photoshop that DYRL SDF-1 w/ TV colors w/ Daedalus and Prometheus arms and post it here? cruiser and attack modes...

i was going to say yes, but after looking at those pics again... that's gotta be hard for those who only have money for one SDF-1... have an accurate DYRL version or have the (supposed) cooler and more nostalgic TV ver. but not be anime accurate... you'll be spending 500 bucks for the thing and 500 every session with your shrink trying to convince yourself that it's okay that it's not accurate...

so... that sleeve you mentioned that comes with the Kaki... is that the one to bundle all 3 (or 4) boxes together?

awesome displays everybody! got myself a new cheap cab so i can unleash my SV-51, VT-1 and VF-27 from storage. i'll take pics when my DX Monster and MH Klan-Klang arrive. can't wait

not 100% sure, but iirc the "angled rear landing gears" refer to how the wheels are angled, not the struts. still hoping for a v.3 YF-19. the only real complaint i have w/ the current 1/60 YF-19 is the gullet... everything else i can live with.

could anybody (UN Spacy ) who got theirs from Amiami post a pic of the box that Klan came in... just paid for mine. i'm having it shipped to my cousin's to avoid customs, haha ... just curious how much extra space is in there... this will probably be my first and last static anime fig that i will be keeping... i previously bought a couple but decided to sell them off coz i realized i'm not really cut out to be an anime figure collector. i usually just like the mecha... but for the uber hotness that is Klan Klan w/ them super packs, i'm making an exception.

finally got off my a$$ and did this fix for my 0A. works like a charm.

it's a regular figure that comes w/ the CM's Macross Trading figure set 3. the Hikaru one is the secret fig from set 2. i remember seeing a custom Max one a few years ago.

it would be cool for those obscure valks to me made but as it is it's kinda hard for a collector that has to work within a budget (like me) to keep up with the current and future releases and how effin' expensive these things are getting. ...waiting for the DX Monster price to go down a bit... still trying to justify getting that 1/3000 SDF-1... choosing w/c of the possible $200+ 1/60 VF-19s i will be getting... saving up for when the 1/60 VF-17 will be announced/released... etc, etc... sometimes i think i may be sacrificing my kids' futures for a bunch of plastic toys! ... nah!
