I'll keep it in Gerwalk mode for now until I get tired of it in this mode. Gonna keep this permanently in Battroid eventually. Transformation was pretty easy compared to the HMR VF-0s. Not fiddly at all...so far.

For wanting duplicates and not needing to get multiples of the 1/60 scale version as @MKT was alluding to. But, yes, "cost effective" might not be the appropriate term for a hobby where we're all willfully wasting our money .

Happy, cost effective and space saving compromise.

https://sen-ti-nel.co.jp/items/riobot-legioss-eta-2ndre/ The 2nd re-release Eta is now 27k JPY. How much was it before? And what's the TREAD +Online Store Limited Edition?

Wow! Looks great. In the process of stomaching that 42k price.

0D in fighter is definitely a beauty. Transformed mine to fighter as soon as I got it. Would love an HMR 21/22 too. But my new favorite in fighter is the VF-4. I never truly was able to appreciate its beauty until I got one that I could stare at and admire pretty much everyday. Speaking of the VF-4... while my local preorder for the HMR is taking its sweet time getting here via slow boat, I managed to snag one online for only $75 with free shipping from Japan. Will open it up later. Love the box design. I keep catching myself staring at Misa, lol. I wish this came with an alternate backdrop with Misa on it.

While fiddling with the cloth on my Rei I discovered that the left shoulder joint assembly had come loose coz the hole inside the torso where it pegs in broke. The right side has a nasty crack but still intact. And since the whole torso armor is glued together, I had no choice but to glue the whole thing with the peg inside thus nullifying its butterfly joint movement. Sucks checking on stuff to find something broken .

Yeah, showed it to my wife and she says it looks like the blue dye of the cloth just wore off, maybe over time.

I tried gently rubbing with dry and then damp cotton buds... still there. Mine also stays inside my display cab that, from time to time, has very minimal dust inside. Oh well

Anybody here having this issue with the blue cloth parts on the Riobot Yellow and Rei figures? There's like brownish spots all over the cloth and the color isn't as bright blue as before. The red cloth on Stick seems just fine though.

On a different note, I really wish Mini Action Toys would release the all plastic Lion Force version soon. I need an ultra cheap Voltron that I can display in their separate lion forms that won't take up a lot of display space. It's been almost a year since preorders went up for the Vehicle version that was released earlier this year.

Same here. I actually sold my original Toynami with the book box to fund the 50th SOC Golion I was able to preorder for a decent price (for much less than the SRP for this new/old toynami). Since it just stays in my display cabinet and I don't really "play" with my "toys" these days, I'm content with having just this one in my collection... so shiny

Nah, just swap the good head laser with the broken one.

Lol, F them coz they basically said F off to you first, right... and let the two billionaire companies sort it out themselves. That's just chump change to them after all.

+1. Even if I didn't and will probably never watch Delta I can settle for a reissue of the HMR VF-2SS.
-
Curious... is this the only HMR packaged in fighter mode? I had thought that I wouldn't have to transform it when I display it with the 1/60.
-
Excellent that it's still so white! Wishing for an HMR version of this.

Cigarette break. Got Saito but skipped Kenshin lol. Those fugly knee joints were ultimately a deal breaker for me.

Very nice box art. Can't wait...

Just got my first ever Black Series figure (and proly last unless Hasbro makes animation-acurate-faced Rebels characters aside from Zeb). Helped that I got it for only $11 and, of course, that it's Ahsoka.

After watching that, I don't know if I should be impressed or disappointed about how they engineered the partsformation for this. And I still couldn't help saying to myself "who the hell is that!?" when he lifted up the visor, lol. Reminded me of the headsculpts of the Toynami cyclones I used to have before I went all in on the Sentinel ride armors.

Lol, I missed that. Thanks. Gonna preorder both. I wonder if Sentinel will release a boxed set for both... Exciting times indeed for Mospeada fans.

The face really looks bad but can be hidden by the visor, but what I can't unsee are those curvy thighs! The price and size are really tempting though. Good thing Sentinel gave me a reason to use my money on them instead... I'm dreading the price for the Tread but already conditioning myself to just accept however much it'll cost.
