Funny, All my 1:55 Takatoku/Bandai (Chunky Monkeys) I bought at the Silver Snail in Toronto when the where still in there old location across from Bakka Books, The only one I didn't get there was the VE-1 Elinseeker, which I found when I was visiting New York.... But even back then they where still available to buy in Canada...ð

No I'm sure your looking at the right one, Yes they are expensive, but I also earn well so not such a big deal, Just getting it sorted out for a 6M shelf with glass cases for most things is still in planing, mostly will be all set up sometime in August. But I'll post a pictures wen it's all set up. ðĪ

I honestly never collect things to have too sell them again. I collect to have them for display. This year I'm getting a new display case from USM-haller wich have enough room for all my Valk's and any future releases....

I think it will be very close to the color of the High MetalR version wich is similar to the VF-1D. But we will probably have to wait till June/July until we get final production pictures...

It's always a hard color to get right especially under studio lights! We will have to wait till July and see what the two trainers look like side by side. But too the Mecha Manual they seem to match, to the movie not as much...

Thanks for that! The orange looks a lot closer too the VF-1D then what was shown in the official pictures which had more of a red-orange tone!?

Although I'm really happy that Bandai is releasing the Ostrich, I find it kind of lazy that they aren't releasing it with"Mech Guts"! Such a wasted opportunity to make the ultimate version...ðĨ

Well my favorite look for the VF-1D is TV super parts with tv missiles...(15th Anniversary style) I know it's not canon, but the orange and green clash together to make it look good! ðĪŠ

Thanks, But it probably won't come with a hand that can hold it anyway. ð But adding hard point for the wings that will be used for the VE-1/VT-1 is just questionable!? Since both birds were never armed. And I'm sure not a lot of people are going for this look! ðą

Just noticed that none of the pictures have a gunpod, so I guess where not getting one! At least with my Old Chunky Monkey had a gunpod! Alway one step forward and two back for Bandai ðĪŠ
