zOMG The accostic instrumental tracks you guys have posted are awesome. I'd love to have a CD of these. The violin Diamond Crevasse especialy. The screamer's performance makes the song even more melancholy, it blends well with the songs instrumental track, and even gives it a nice earthy feel. Anyone know where to get the MP3z so I can start compiling an album?

I like Sheryl's brief little eyecatch version of Aimo...Voices is still way better The song I have fallen in love with is Yousei! This really is Frontier's hidden gem. Great vocals and nice haunting instrumentals. I might listen to this more than Northern Cross now. It's just such a contrast to her other tunes, except maybe Diamond Crevasse v2.

If the capital ship damage from Macross Frontier is any indication of how destructive firepower of the future is, I think it matters little whether the floor is made of common silicon oxide glass or superalloy armour.

I'm going to have to agree there for the Triangler duet. I don't think Megumi and May'n blend that well. Their duet songs are mostly solo medleys with very little overlapping voice, and I'm sure the little that does overlap has been carefully designed for their respective styles. With Triangler we throw them in a song that's clearly out of both of their ranges and the result while novel isn't exactly pleasant on the ears. It's like the interlude in Lion where the two girls go high and make me cringe. Other minor gripe about OST 2 is that the track layout doesn't seem as well thought out as OST 1. 1's presentation definitely told a story. It brought us to Frontier, Sheryl's concert, explored Frontier life, had a comedic intermission, went to battle, and finished strong. With OST 2, I'm having a harder time following the intent.

Ah, very thankful we get an early download, because I didn't know if I could wait another week or two for my CD to get here. Everyone downloading should make sure they actually BUY a copy to express our happiness and inform Big West that we need more Macross in terms they understand: profit. Excellent soundtrack, I'm glad we finally get High School Life but was disappointed it's so short. I loved Test Flight Delight which will go right there with Takeoff and Fly Up In the Air as songs I play before going out flying, but I can't remember where it was used in the series. Honestly though, I was really hoping for the Panty Chase song and the All That VF remix of Don't Be Late. Maybe OST: For Fans Only?

I didn't repost this one because it didn't seem like there was much of difference between polls 1 2 and 3. Although, perhaps we'll see a big jump in Klan's numbers as she's gotten a lot of screentime, Sheryl very little, and Ranka's gotten a lot of hate. Or will Nanase perhaps get a strong showing of sympathy vote?

My favorites were always the Music Selection From the Galaxy Network Chart Albums. You get most of the Fire Bomber songs you love and a smattering of other artists for variety. They're the closest thing Macross 7 had to an OST. I realize that Power of Tower, Bamboo Road Express, and the like might just be fillers, but I both enjoyed them and felt they added depth to the Macross 7 world which was centered around the music industry. As far as a favorite song though...Angel Voice? I realize some people might be a little put off by the whale call, but I felt it best captured the emotion of Basara even if it lacked the raw energy of most Fire Bomber songs. Also, is it just my collection of albums and MP3z or are most of the Fire Bomber recordings lacking the Basara/Mylene Duet versions? I always thought the songs were way better when it was both of them together.

No, I really think they're going to try...and it's going to come off like Macross Zero. The only upshot is that I'm enjoying the ride up to the trainwreck here.
