Oh you guys. Anyway, I'm glad to see that you guys are around and still active (with Gattai gone, you guys filled the right spot) I can't say much about translation errors, but there was a small typo at one point where it said dirctor instead of director. It's not a big deal since I'm not a grammar nazi, but I'm sure one or two spelling fiends are out there, venting their frustrations on their parents or whatever.

Just checked gg's IRC channel and it was a troll apparently. Should have expected it with them being a 4chan group. But I just don't know. One of the shared bots has Episode 10 subs out anyway. I'm downloading it now to see if it's another troll or what. Still, subber drama and trolling What can you do?

Well, about Gattai, this is the subject of their IRC channel BY THE WAY, WE'RE DONE as a speedsub group So, hopefully they're back in the game, but as a normal sub group, rather than speedsubbers. Which can only be a good thing.

I know it's a bit late to chime on on this, but I just want to add that I don't see the problem some people were having with Michael's VF being so expressive. It's much better than it being static and him just standing there whilst talking, and with it being a new VF, you'd expect it to be more mobile and for lack of a better word, posable (sp?) than previous VFs, and body language just helps get things across

I think it's safe to say that the general rule of thumb is that if it has vajra or pewpewpew in it, the quality will probably be decent, and if it's slice of life, they'll probably get other studios to cover for them

Yeah, I'd heard they were leaving the game because gg were releasing their subs before Gattai and it's pointless for a speedsub group to keep on releasing when they're being outsped by a normal group. But even then, Gattai's translations made more sense than some of the bigger groups, they had the best encodes along with Aone&Menclave, so even if they're not doing their job as speedsubbers, I think they should just stay in the game as a regular sub group. The fact that they don't really bother with kareoke is nice too, as much as I enjoy nice looking kareoke, it's nice that they softsub it so you can get a HQ RAW with nothing in the way at any given time. Or seeing as they have had some talks with gg abbout including their subs in the current release, they could even join for the rest of Macross Frontier, with Gattai doing the encoding and things would be pretty perfect. gg's kareoke isn't big and doesn't really get in the way like a lot of other groups, which is much more preferable to kareoke that takes up half of the screen.

It makes enough sense, the EX-Gears interfacing with the VF-25 allow for the mecha to respond to your own movements when you're connected, so why not take integration to the next level with the 27s?
