Actually its Guld zentran human structure that allows him to sustain the BCS normal human pilots would not have been able to. The X-9 Ghost attacks like grease lightning taking out entire squadron's before they knew what hit em.

hmmmm.......maybe they died of heart attack due to Isamu's outrageous uber piloting skills Could be a crash due to lost of control. It was a test program so they could simply rebuild the plane everytime it broke. The BCS may not have killed it pilots but it left them with long term health problems(compendium?). Even Guld who is half zentran seems affected. IMO the Ghost Drone prototype is by far the best fighter overall and that "nothing can harm me complex" aside i will say even the VF-22(YF-21) can defeat it.

Imagine what the F-2A could have been had it been canard equipped...at least it still has some CCV functions but not as many as it would have with canards. Wonder why Japan would invest in a F-16 derivative rather than a more original design ? Speaking of an F-15 that can take off from bombed runways....there was once a concept, in the 80s where they ride on special air cushion platforms...how they recover is unclear. Dave Hintgen maybe you can shead some light on this ?

Dave Is the ferris camo effective ? It seems to break up the profile of the fighter. Think the Luftwaffe F-4Fs have a more moderate splinter camo in the 80s but it still with sharp jagged edges.

Phyrox I made it myself based on several pictures and the tiny profile at Morgenstein's mospeada site. I have an updated version coming. I planned the top view but haven't done anything about it yet as i am quite busy.
