  1. Thanks Lindem for the scans. Look forward to your new thread.
  2. yeah..i tried out the old Flanker 2.5 2nd generation sim. Lots of Russian hardware...found it hard to operate former Soviet equipment. I found Flanker 2.5 a bit bland despite its great flight model. No immersion at all. Never tried Lock-On yet...heard its a rough jem as well.
  3. ok...how bout some Votom or Legioss girl instead ?
  4. I was actually wondering what the Seiran was trying to do here. Was it attempting a buddy buddy refueling with another craft. However mahq suggested that thing is the glider armour which is worn over the Seiran. http://www.mahq.net/mecha/macross/aircaval...-fighter-ga.jpg So i am guessing that they combine using the cable thingy. Sounds feasible ?
  5. oh yeah the VF-9 is a nice little valk. It is unique that it doesn't have head lasers but rather shoulder lasers(one side only). I can live with the conehead design as long as it looks cool in fighter and gerwalk modes. Coneheads are just so General Galaxy. btw the Fz-109 could probably give us a clue on how the VA-14 roughly looks like. I am not referring to the Black Birdish version that appeared on some lineart. FBz-99 must have followed a similar route taking designs from ACC.
  6. well this is anime so i guess anything that looks cool is possible. Just like the Legioss+Thread combination from Mospeada. That SeiRan design deserves to be adapted into Macross. Call it the VF-16 Flankerer or whatever. He did after all use the Invader design from the same series. Lindem Herz, if its no trouble can you provide larger scans of the normal fighter mode like the one in my second post ? btw are there any 3 views or cockpit drawings ?
  7. http://www.mahq.net/mecha/macross/aircaval...kou-fighter.jpg http://www.mahq.net/mecha/macross/aircaval...er-fastpack.jpg I have a feeling Shoji was inspired by the Su-27 when he design the SeiRan. Looks very sleek to me.
  8. LV-7 reminds me of the Russian Ekranoplan Wing Over Water concept. Was it supposed to skim over water ?
  9. How bout Air Cavalry Chronicles ? It had some designs that made it into Macross and others with the potential to become the VAB-2, VF-6, VF-7, VF-16 or whatever. Just drop the old fashion weapons and give them guns. http://www.mahq.net/mecha/macross/aircavalry/a-9b.htm http://www.mahq.net/mecha/macross/aircavalry/af-49.htm http://www.mahq.net/mecha/macross/aircavalry/bg-5c.htm http://www.mahq.net/mecha/macross/aircavalry/iii-c.htm http://www.mahq.net/mecha/macross/aircavalry/lv-7.htm http://www.mahq.net/mecha/macross/aircaval...eiran-99kou.htm http://www.mahq.net/mecha/macross/aircavalry/fz-109a.htm http://www.mahq.net/mecha/macross/aircavalry/ve-88.htm http://www.mahq.net/mecha/macross/aircavalry/fz-109g.htm
  10. Interesting mix. But why does Stig's type have a fin under the fuselage ?
  11. hmmm...Sabrina is hardly hentai. Just a bunch of guys(middle age men ?) bringing to us those cute moments in anime
  12. Considering the size of Sabrina they must have had those clothes custom made. There is a most interesting webcam too. http://sabrina.jp/sabrinow2.htm Currently Sabrina changing her clothes then browsing a pc then having another change..repeating the same actions but with different clothes.
  13. I guess in anime, characters are larger than their real life counterparts. Just look this to get an idea
  14. you know, you're right, that almost escaped me... Jees, she's taller than Hikaru... Roy needs a tall woman to match.
  15. I think tanks just lack the size to carry weapons powerful enough to kill a mech plus the already mentioned lack of mobility. In mechwarrior and gundam at least the tanks are no more than pest since they are so small.
  16. Even Kakizaki has a height almost unheard of a Japanese male during that period. I think figures like 170-180 are more likely for the modern day japanese man, anything beyond that is simply rare. Maybe Mikimoto was stressing the changing demographics of young people.
  17. I initially thought it was one of those silicon love figure or something. Didn't realise it was a costume till i took a closer look. Say why not do a Minmay or Misa version ?
  18. Regarding the X-02 these are the best pics i know of. Looking forward to seeing your lego. http://www.aerospaceweb.org/question/planes/q0192b.shtml
  19. oh man Stig looks to have lost several pounds since we last saw him in Mospeada. And what's with the hair style ? The Mars Base uniform appear to have been gone through a shrink packing process. Logo seems different now. Not sure about Aisha. I bet he has the same small eyes as the new Stig. Guess i will need see more of it before deciding on it. Hopefully we can get a glimpse of the completed version of the Point-K fighter and Jupiter Base.
  20. Thanks for the kind comments. Here is the Melkia version. It looks hardly natural.
  21. Here with my meagre photoshop skills
  22. Axelay I suggest you put one each on your doors, hood, roof and trunk door plus tiny ones on the wheel hubs and steering.
  23. Yeah Macross II has an ending that would satisfied most destroid fan boys out there. Lots of upgraded Defender, Phalanx, Tomohawk and even Monster type destroids blasting as countless zentraedi units. The purple one is the commander type battle pod, the green one is supposedly the upgrded version of the N-Ger. The Gloria battleship is cool kinda like the Gatchaman ship.
  24. Its april now any news about the Hasegawa VF-11 ?
  25. That battroid Ogroid is a customized Hasegawa. Cool stuff.
