I was referring to the ASEAN, while where I live is not listed explicitly, it is one of the major members of the ASEAN (and one of two founding members that are also non-NATO allies of the US). It also until recently, couldn't afford proper combat jet aircraft (relying instead of crappy Italian made trainer "flying coffins." Besides, the main thing I was questioning was whether the list was canon or not.

Well, it looks similar enough to the Battle 7 to make us assume that it transforms with the only reason that it doesn't being the argument given by Mr. March. If anything, we'll probably get confirmation on whether or not it does from some sourcebook or lineart (just like with the VF-4 which was enver shown transforming, but that didn't mean it didn't transform, SK just released the lineart for Battroid mode later on).

That larger portion is simply the front end/docking section of Island 1 (similar to that seen in Macross 7). It's simply larger now because Island 1 is a whole heck larger than City 7.

Just for those who can't see it, I've outlined the Battle 25 in green. Compare it to the Battle 7, you can clearly see that their similar and the reason we can't see the bridge superstructure is that it's located on the right side of the ship (like in a modern day carrier) and it's pretty small compared to the ship itself.

Mina seems to be doing it as well (albeit rather half-heartedly).

If you think about it, episode 14 isn't just the conclusion of the "Gallia IV" story arc (11-14), it also acts as a conclusion to the previous 7 episodes as well (8-14) paying off for certain things that were set during those episodes (Sheryl joining the pilot class, Brera's appearance in Frontier). At the same time, it sets things up for the next "arc" of episodes (just like episode 7 set things up for Brera's appearance/interference/intervention in Frontier.
