    The YF-24 was an under performing design with some promise, hence it was never put into production but had enough merit that bits of it were used as the basis for the VF-25 (and possibly the VF-27). A similar real life example would be how the YF-17 never went into production (beaten out by the F-16) but its design was reused for the F/A-18.

    Basara's singing caused a rift in the space time continuum sending him back all those years where he helps seal away the Protodeviln. He ultimately settles in that time period and his DNA becomes the basis for humanity, in other words, we all are BOMBAAA!

    IMO, Alto should be softened up a bit in that pic, that way the yuri goggles wont need to be overworked.

    Actually, how about one set during the original galactic civil war when they had just unleashed the Protodeviln. We can have a story dealing with the original Anima Spiritia and how they eventually stopped the first Spiritia Black Hole.

    Scientology doesn't have a monopoly on that belief nor are they the originators of it (nor is it their central belief). The whole aliens actively affecting the creation of life on earth more the domain of Raëlism. Interestingly enough, the Raëlist symbol is contains a spiral - albeit a six-armed on inside a Star of David and not the two-armed one of the Protoculture.

    Personally, I'm still waiting for a Rock Band style Macross 7 game. Still, I'll wait until this comes out and people have actually tried it before I judge.

    It'd be interesting if they did a season 2 but with a slightly different cast, this time a new triangler with the current one already resolved. The conflict will be between normal humans in Frontier vs cyborgs/augmented humans in Galaxy. The music will now come not from an idol, but from a band.

    There are some who would swear that the true triangle in M7 was Guitar -> Basara <- Everybody else. As for the topic on hand, at the very least I'm hoping for an OVA continuation in the spirit of Dynamite 7 (a slightly less epic story with the same characters, minus the space whales), or maybe a prequel of sorts set aboard the SDF Global/117th fleet.
