  1. Well he was a sniper in a show airing during the so called "Year of Dead Snipers," he really didn't have much chance anyway.
  2. But I'd want to see them attempt to do the transformation as close as they can to the original lineart as possible (no swing bars, etc.). But a PG VF-25 wouldn't be a bad idea (although I'd also want a PG VF-19 Custom with working speakers) but first things first, I need me one of these 1/72's and hopefully they release the FAST Packs soon.
  3. Not to mention that three of those per wing is a bit overkill (the speakers I mean).
  4. Hate to be a spoilsport, but this thread is basically covered by this thread.
  5. It's possible that suit that she's wearing is some form of G-suit (since it's similar to the suit worn by VF-25 pilots). Also, the major issue with high G maneuvering would be G-LOC and not "Gulding" as you so succinctly put it.
  6. Alto's already playing Sheryl, however, Bobby is awesome enough to play two roles at the same time.
  7. Makes you wonder what if N.U.N.S. circa 2059 actually deemed a ship with that size and firepower necessary and did build one.
  8. Thank you! As for the the panel on the legs, we've argued over that before and come to the conclusion that - based on both the size and function (to cover the ventral fins) as well as the lack of any animated evidence to the contrary - they are, at the very least, not any form of missile bay or what have you.
  9. That can't be right, not when Kira "Jesus" Yamato is the pilot.
  10. I trust you missed the Appale Genki can missile from episode 14 and others discussed in this thread.
  11. Even with long hair she still keeps the dog ears. And why does Sheryl suddenly look like Rei Ayanami?
  12. But by the end of the series, I think we get the sense that his reason for fighting is simply more than just rebelling against his dad. It's an interesting juxtaposition that here's someone who claimed to hate Frontier (or Island type ships in general) is now fighting for its very survival.
  13. IMO, sparkly's are the result of having the deculture level set to OVER 9000!
  14. Wow, you mean the concert wasn't able to replenish your spiritia?
  15. Well, in full armor, he's pretty much a combination of attack helicopter and main battle tank. The aerodynamic penalty wouldn't really be as big an issue as if he were in fighter mode. Anyway, back to the topic at hand. I just noticed, in episode 9, those are some pretty heavy dumbbells that Sheryl's using. Judging by the size, each plate should weigh in at around 2.5 kg meaning that she's lifting around 15 kg which is pretty heavy for someone who's cut but doesn't have much mass.
  16. But as of now the currently released lineart doesn't have them (besides, the space in the legs is used to store the elevators in Battroid mode). Speaking of which, does anyone have a copy of that lineart? I remember that it was posted in the older mecha/tech thread but I don't have the time to look for it.
  17. That my friend, would be a bridge filled with EPIC WIN!
  18. IMO, if any Valk is deserving of a PG kit, it would be the classic VF-1 not the VF-25. Anyway, I've been thinking of picking up one of the 1/72s, although I'll admit that it's been years since I last built a model kit. Might be a good way to get back into the hobby.
  19. Well it is coming out on PC, so if you've got a decent rig, all you'll need is a good stick.
  20. Maybe they're using Varauta War era "super non-existent missile launchers" that appear in the the VF-11s despite not being in the official lineart.
  21. Yep, I'm already done with SDFM, Plus and Zero. Skipped most of 7 though and went straight to Operation Stargazer and the final battle/concert. BTW, the hat looks better on Sheryl than on Minmay.
  22. Wasn't it being discussed somewhere that the V-25 did have hardpoints on its wings?
  23. From what we've seen, it probably looks like a VF-25 but with a different back - possibly either like the V-11 MAXL and VF-0D (wings swing in, but not fully due to the seize), or like the YF-21/VF-22 (folding).
