  1. I'll go for one. Love the triple hull design. Hell, I like it better than the '25.
  2. 1. 1/60 VF-22S in all liveries. 2. 1/60 VF-0A with Ghost. 3. 1/60 SV-51 CF. 4. 1/100 VF100 VF-25S (I know, I know...it's a 3D puzzle but it's pretty awesome to have as a desktop toy. When you don't transform it that is.) 5. 1/72 VF-11B (Not gotten around to getting the 1/60 yet)
  3. Yebisu FTW! Luckily we import it here in Melbourne. On topic: Gonna try and catch it next weekend, sounds delicious and you guys make way better reviewers than any other as we've got similar taste on mecha and mayhem.
  4. Yep, it looks like something out of a movie.
  5. A 6.0 quake just hit Nagano, Niigata and Guma prefectures.
  6. That's just horrible. RIP to the victims, hope for a full recovery and return to normal life soon.
  7. VF-22s Gamlin, and probably VF-22 Max and Miriya if i have time. In terms of value well I guess my MSIB Saber Lily distant Avalon.
  8. I thoroughly enjoyed the series, a big thanks to the folks here who recommended it. It gets better and the dialogue can be pretty fun at times. It is more of an introspective period fantasy drama than a hot blooded action samurai adventure.
  9. Managed to pick up a Miku Live Stage ver while in Osaka for 5kY(curse them limited editions ) after having no luck at all in Tokyo.(The hunt was a lot more fun than the purchase!) Needless to say, pre-ordered a couple units of that Miku Append.
  10. Guilty as charged, waiting earnestly for a low-vis...anything that's not a VF-1 really. With squadron markings. I'll buy a boombox laden bright red M1 Abhrams Tank that shoots speaker pods, however.
  11. Picked up the standard edition 1/100 as both the Sheryl and Ranka designs were too busy. Didn't really like the design till I watched the movie. Looks much better in motion! As for the fast packs:
  12. Watched it on the 1st at Ikebukuro, pretty packed theater and there was a huge line to purchase the merchandise. Loved it immensely more than the series and yeah people were tearing up towards the end. Overall a pretty wonderful show despite not understanding most of the dialog, though my other half had no clue whatsoever and was rather pleasantly surprised at the songs. Picked up a 1/100 YF-29 model and Tenjin's Second Sortie from Animate right after!
  13. Got my Max and Milia as well, with no space to display them at the moment . Funny thing was, I purchased them via HLJ's sale and got them mailed to Oz. Now that I'm in Tokyo I found them going for 9k yen at Yellow Submarine in Akihabara.
  14. Tempted to grab the Blazer too, as Yodobashi Akiba's having them on sale for 5k-odd yen.
  15. Bought meself another 22 (Max) from the previous sale to compliment my Gamlin. Love these valks!
  16. This fits into my plans of buying one valk a year(presents notwithstanding )!
  17. Lovely pics guys. I myself fancy the Hammerhead fighters from Space:Above and Beyond.

    BUSTED!

Haha that gave me a right chuckle, Snail. My fiancée looked at me funny when I slipped in a dozen photos I took of my valks when we ordered some to be printed online. I guess it's not really ok to do that when they are engagement photos in question.
  19. Beauty, accuracy and perfect transformation trumps gimmick every time. I don't even think TFs and yammies are in the same league, price regardless, and I do own a few of both. However in regards to the lights it may be a great idea for the destroids have in their search lights for a night ops diorama.
  20. Rideback? Yeah it's pretty decent. More drama/political thriller than mecha action though but it's worth picking up.
  21. Just caught this as well, great show thanks for introducing it. Liked the mecha designs and the tech.
  22. You've got a good point there. But then again, to me the 27 looks like a fish(smoother surfaces, more curved and blended surfaces) but the 51 looks like a bird of prey. In fact, the 27 looks like an awesome sub.
  23. Why would any valk carry a pistol with lower ballistic properties due to smaller barrel length when it could be packing another gunpod? What about the VF-22? Metal Siren? I know we're talking about sci-fi here but valks in battroid mode are more like mobile tanks rather than infantry. A bayonet/knife might be prudent if you ran out of gunpod ammo but in all seriousness you might as well RTB to reload instead of drawing a pistol that has a very limited amount of ammo, fire rate(try shooting down 20 incoming missiles with a pistol) and armor penetration capabilities. Or you can have two or more gunpods. Sorry to digress even further from the topic.
  24. It's hardly a pug, more like a throughbred greyhound .
