22s only lmao. Have got a few YF-21s as well and more gamlins incoming. I want a squadron, and their unpopularity is making it easier. However if Arcadia starts making a renewal/version 3 i'm going to be sooooooooooooo broke. /sturmvogel5, it's been lonely...

I mentioned that I display my YF-19 in gerwalk but forgot to say it's without arms deployed: Here with it's younger stablemate.

Star Trek Into Darkness, in theaters May 17, 2013
raptormesh replied to UN Spacy's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
I understand how one can get hooked on the utopian part of it, but nobody I know got into social sciences or (the horror) poli-sci because of Trek.- 1020 replies

I cannot agree more. It's somehow not hip and boring for shows that aim to inspire? I personally know of half a dozen engineers and scientist who went into their field because of TNG. I too enjoyed the 2009 reboot but watching it is like watching macross without the songs.- 1020 replies

The robot designs cannot be more uninspired. I will watch this one after a few beers, maybe.- 1206 replies

Yeah the gerwalk mode seems really silly, wish the rear fuselage would be able to collapse in like the -21, it's way too long. This is probably heresy but I'm fine with a fighter mode only model/toy for this bird.
-
Wolfpack anybody? Planning to custom mine in that scheme to accompany my VF-0A.

Which is why I've always preferred cannon fodder versions of any valk. Less "Look! I'm a pretty butterfly!".
-
Argh, tempting to have at least one mainline VF-1 in my collection but I prefer the brilliant white of the TV version. Hmmm hmmm
-
Really shows that the ol' VF-4 has got massive potential.

Same could be said of a Rafale and a Typhoon, save perhaps the last one. The J-20 looks like an elongated box with wings, there's more to comparing just the top down planview. I agree with what you said about Kawamori being very varied with his source of inspiration though.

Yeah it's a T-50 with canards. The J-20 looks a lot less elegant.
