    Yeah when I stopped during the PW transition I had two capped characters, just don't know how much effort it would be to get the new ships. If it's impossible to get the Odyssey what sort of advancement can I look forward to? I don't want to log back in only to grind in my old Prommie. Thanks for the reply.

    Actually this is the one and only MacF valk everybody needs: C'mon Arcadia do us a solid! Incidentally, I love the MacF movies way more than DYRL(!) and the MacF series. Still friggin' tear up.

    Thinking of going but heard horror stories about grinding the same missions day in day out. Is it possible to get the odyssey as a solo player without spending bones buying the zen nonsense?

    I stopped because of the silly planet>station transitions and also because alting isn't really fun where you have to spend so much time travelling for run of the mill quests. I don't mind just roaming around if there are interesting things but they are mostly quest hubs spaced far apart.

    I think the VF-171CF is a good starting point, as none of the MacF main chars stained it. I too am not really bothered with the shows - I mean 2/3 of my entire collection is from Mac7 of which I gave up after 12 episodes and went to punch some kittens. MacF is ok, just wish they delete every scene with either Ranka or Lucca in it and it'll be much improved. >

    Not to take the thunder out of it but that's a pretty common phrase when doing business in Japan and shouldn't be misconstrued as Arcadia already having a release map for macross products in the next couple years or so. Would happily hope that I'm mistaken though.

    That's the MW spirit! Freak out upon hearing Yamato's death, spend an incredulous amount of money bumrushing online stores and then worry about the valks melting into plastic goo in their boxes. I approve. Now where's the future panic button? /just having fun, no offense meant

    The robotech books. End of the circle, probably read that a few times. Then I saw the sentinels on tv before I watched robotech. Puzzled by the plot, I went after the RPG books for more info on the lore and mecha. All these probably happened in the first dozen decade of my life so the Alpha fighter from Mospeada is my first mecha love. I still get goosebumps recalling the scene where Scott crashed landed in his Alpha in the forest and sits there in the cockpit grieving as the rain peppered his canopy. Then I watched Macross Plus in high school and it's been an awesome journey since.

    Don't need to take it personally, if they flagged you as a detriment to their business by wasting their time they would have just cancelled your account or gave you a warning.
