    Tried to watch Muv Luv Alternative. Silly aliens. Couldn't really care less at episode 5 and stopped. Rather watch mac7.

    Perhaps bandai produced as many CFs as Alto's 171 but I'm thinking most Japanese fans only went for Alto's hence the "normal" supply. Thinking of getting another one too but it's just so fiddly.

    Yeah there isn't any defending the first movie. But this one's actually coherent.

    Ah yes that's the one with the can. She just reminds me of when I first saw her in the manga. Probably cost a pretty penny now.

    My fav is the one exclusive to a kombini chain, she's wearing casual clothes and nibbling on a sandwich or something.

    Like the grey blackbird lookalike but the blue one just reminds me of a spade or the jedi starfighter. VF-4 is sexier by far.

    Yeah looking very nice, Maaya's doing a decent job imo.

    I would love to have the VF-2SS but I think the Metal Siren is an abomination. I mean in battroid mode it looks like a body building VF-1(admittedly, the "sonic" attack mode is pretty cool) but the fighter mode looks like some gundam space ship made with leftover lego. (no offense to gundam fans)

    You can actually deploy his arms in that mode like a real valk.

    Finally transformed mine, took an hour all told for the three modes. Can't hold a candle to Yamato's VF-19S as a toy. Fiddly as heck and stuff' are not locking, might be me not transforming it properly though. Now I'm actually apprehensive about transforming it back to fighter mode, which is by far my fav mode..

    Caught this earlier today in IMAX 3D. Possibly the best picture I've seen in recent years, entirely enjoyed it. It's twice as Trek as the last Trek movie, had goosebumps throughout and I say this as one who isn't a TOS fan. Would like to see more, was pretty inspired at the end of the movie. It may have been the IMAX though . The new girl is insanely hot. WTB a hot toys fig.

    It's not really an action film, which is why some of you may think it's boring. Instead it's a mental thriller, I mean the entire trailer I kept thinking about the danger of floating into the endless space and suffocating slowly. In Armageddon the astronauts are cast away red shirts.

    My advice is to have low expectations. Both in terms of gimmicks and time frame.
