    Out of all the valks these require the most attention and focus when transforming. LOL at this attrition rate in a couple of years undamaged 171CFs will be quite rare, as even MISB you don't know if they're defective or not.

    Well as long as we're trading amiami stories round the campfire while waiting... Once I contacted them about a defect in one of my valks. They replied with a payment order saying that they only so something about it if I purchase all the stuff i've cancelled for the past two years. Not that I've cancelled many of course(two or three pre-orders) but this was a bit unsettling I didn't know cancellations have strings attached. So I told them to stuff it somewhere the sun don't shine and fixed that valk myself.

    Seriously that gunpod is almost grape soda color. Mine will stay in the box forever. And yes weathering seems to help loads.

    You got that right buddy. Thankfully if those ever get renewed they would be by Arcadia. I can't even imagine how many stimulants I will need to stay calm if Bandai does it instead. As it's evening here I would be checking HLJ occasionally for a few hours. Suspect SaitoSad and the other asiapac guys will be doing the same.

    If that happens I'll just live without one. I have a single RVF-25 and that's pretty much sufficient for this mold. Then again I'm not a big fan of the Messiah.

    So what you're saying is that we should pay higher than retail so that we can pay higher than retail? Right...tell you what, you keep doing that. I'll just buy from wherever that's kinder on my wallet since, you know it's a toy and kinda low on my priorities. Edit: Btw I'm not hating on NY on the whole, I still have orders with them for the FPs that's reasonably priced. Like I said, I go where it's cheaper and legit.

    I have the 30th anni SP on my alto and i think it looks good, i didn't like alt's SP as they were too red/white. The yellow gives a good contrast as a whole. If I were to rub out the yellow I would paint it black rather than red.

    Kinda like Waspinator, even though I've never watch a single episode of BW. And the blitzwing repaint has got me conflicted. It's a pretty interesting, though badly designed mold, but dat shark mouth.

    Yeah TCracker, the 171 CF has the best battroid look of any valk in the Frontier line up, and if I may be so bold of any valk ever. Really glad I bought an extra so that would stay in B mode.

    Very nice pic TCracker, really shows how large the S and F heads are. Seems that mine doesn't have warped wings, so that's a plus. Prefer to display it without the gunpods even and deploy the shield on the right arm. After all, it's an EW platform. This being my first Messiah I'm quite surprised how much I like it in battroid mode. Will probably leave it like this till I get the FPs.

    I still refer mine matte thanks. I don't think there is debate on which looks more realistic, as most 1/72 models and diecast aren't glossy. They just look that way at the distance. Not that there is any issue preferring one over another of course.

    Dogfight is not about fancy maneuvers...it's about who has the higher initiative and more kinetic energy. The only advantage you have doing flips and cobras is to point your nose at the adversary with high instantaneous turn rates but even then your missile will not be in its optimum kinetic envelope if you launch it at 150mph. With current boresight helmets and all aspect seekers it's not really an advantage anymore. Even the ruskies themselves admitted that these are mainly for airshows and is not really an integral part of their WVR merge training for active frontline units(as opposed to test and stunt pilots).
